Mod: Shanba has limited access until the 15th. Please keep this in mind before searching for a replacement.
I wasn't planning to, I just wanted the confirm, but I knew Shnaba was active anyway.-

This wagon has gone from 0 to 4 in ~2 hours. The members of the wagon are myself, JDodge, klebian, and Shanba. None of us have given any reason for our votes.

Melody man doesn't seem very interested in this game. I can't commit to a vote yet, but I will soon, and I think my position is pretty clear.-

How has my play been anti-town?TheSweatpantsNinja wrote:
Viva la revolucion!shanba wrote: So your theory is that a faction of townies, revolted by the heinous lynchwagons set forth by the unholy scum, broke free of the repression and founded a new wagon in daylight on scum?
It seems improbable that it was a scum-driven wagon, in any case. Which doesn't mean that jdodge is scum, but its not like his play's been particularly pro-town, you know what I'm saying?
Of course, you (shanba) think I'm scum, so your mileage may vary.-

Do you agree with the following statement about behaviours: not pro-town = anti-town?neko2086 wrote:
I don't see how it has been pro-town, really. You've yet to really contribute to this game. If your playstyle is deliberate, what do you feel you have accomplished?JDodge wrote: How has my play been anti-town?
Also, do you have any thoughts concerning the events of D1? Since you really didn't say much D1, I would hope you would have had the chance to make some observations that could potentially help us today. I would also like to know what drove you to your final vote.
Crub, RW has spoken. Did you get the information you were hoping for?-

Indeed you did. And I fully intend to answer - just not right now. Maybe later when I have the time to.neko2086 wrote:JDodge, I had questions for you I'd like answered.
K7, Justin had a question for you that you've not answered.
Korlash, earlier you were trying to decide whether to vote for K7 or Klebian. You asked Crub if he could give you a reason to vote Klebian over K7, and since he hasn't revealed anything, you haven't voted. Perhaps you ought to share your thoughts first. Are those still the two you're thinking of voting for? Whom are you more likely to vote for at the moment?
Crub, can you at least tell us what made you think there might be a klebian-shanba connection? Please answer this only after Korlash has answered.-

Sorry, I've been busy as hell and a bit unmotivated from this game due to the mod's unfair enforcement of his activity policy (AKA only ever prodding me, not people such as Killah Seven and RossWilliam who have been lurking like hell). I'll get to answering now.-

Nothing. I generally take a short while to get a feel of the game before I start serious contribution - this is another case of me just simply being bored.neko2086 wrote:

I don't have many thoughts on D1. Nothing really happened that caught my eye on day one except a couple things that felt off about RossWilliam - nothing actually factual to base it on, though. I will contribute more on D2. And I will admit that my final vote of D1 was about two-thirds influenced by saving myself.JDodge wrote:Also, do you have any thoughts concerning the events of D1? In your experience (although it is limited), what alignment do these "assholes" tend to be? What is your personal definition of "anti-town"? Doesn't the existance of neutral roles in some games tend to prove the potential existance of a null-tell?neko2086 wrote:Generally, I do. I understand that some people act like assholes to try to draw scummy reactions, but unfortunately, it can draw the same reactions from town, so it really doesn't end up being that helpful. In my mind, the town should always be as helpful as possible. Not doing so risks misleading the town, and that should never be allowable to a townie.
Isn't it "guilty until proven innocent", not the other way around? Aside from my lurking (boredom) and lack of content when I did post (more boredom), what exactly have I done that is anti-town?neko wrote:Now, if there is signifigant evidence pointing to somebody being town, such as an investigation or something like that, they absolutely should not be lynch because of "policy" or anything like that. But, at this point of the game, I don't feel like we have any reason to believe that you are town.-

I have. And you're not being lazy in the way you normally are, either. You're brushing off every last thing you can, and avoiding as many questions as possible - this fits with Crub-scum more than Crub-town.Crub wrote:
Yeah I got lynched based on crap logic in that game too The fact that I was scum there is irrelevant. So I hope you read over all my games and not just the first one I was scum in? If you had of meta'd me properly, you would have seen I play the lazy townie fairly often. Sometimes it get's me lynched sometimes it doesn't. If it does here so be it.JDodge wrote:Unvote, vote: Crub
Only time I've seen Crub act like this, he was scum. Newbie 516 IIRC.
It doesn't. Your actions on things regarding you make you scum.Crub wrote:This game I've commited to how I feel about klebian. How does that make me scum? I think klebian's reaction to my vote and my withholding analysis does add to my case.-

Look at people voting Crub.
Look at Crub's list of suspicion.
Notice that you have one "scum", two "non-committals", one of which is scum and one of which is townbut committing to neither. Note that the one that is "scum" is the one most likely to be a bussing tactic.
Why are we voting TSN again?-

No, I'm not using the exact same argument. My arguments are thus:Crub wrote:
So let me get this straight ... in a scenario where 2 votes would have been enough for a deadline lynch, TSN with a multitude of people he could have voted thought "I know, I'll bus my partner in order to make it a two horse race between me and my partner."JDodge wrote:Look at people voting Crub.

Are you serious? Have you been sharing smoking implements with TSN who used this exact same argument at the start of today, in reference to yesterday?
1) You're OMGUSsing whilst also trying to not draw suspicion to yourself 2) the person amongst those voting for you whom you are pushing the hardest (TSN) is listed as "scum" amongst them
3) You're acting much in the same way I've seen Crub-scum act before and
4) Every time you are pushed to explain your actions you ignore it, which is also half-covered under 3.-

Error: Question impossible to answer without falling into trap of bullshit WIFOM logic.Crub wrote:
Explain to me why two scum partners would bring the deadline lynch down to Partner 1 or Partner 2 when there were plenty of other candidates for lynch? Even if it became obvious that one of the two were up for lynch why not at least give the town a choice between Partner 1 and Innocent 1?JDodge wrote:I am saying that distancing has given way to bussing. This is a logical progression of events.
It's not down to me to know how the scum thinks. I'm saying it's a possibility.-

It would be WIFOM if we went down the path of "why did you do that", considering that the explanation I have for why scum would bus in such a way is that it is a highly unlikely scum maneuver in a game with power roles that will likely have minimal impact.Crub wrote:Oh wow, nice call of WIFOM. This is not even close to WIFOM.
Yes scum can benefit by bussing their partner early in the game in order to get a free ride to the end. In this situation with limited activity and a fixed deadline where the person about to be lynched has 3 votes, the scenario you're suggesting is very unlikely.
