Sorry everyone, but after a very nasty uproar on another game, I've found that I do not care for the flavor of mafia games played on this board. You guys have been mostly fine so far, but the stupid rudeness I've had to put up with in another game has taken the fun out of it.

I'd urge you to stay. There are a couple bad apples here on mafiascum, true, but most of us are pretty cordial individuals. If you're really set on it I don't mean to stop you, but one bad experience shouldn't be indicative of the entire site.

Alright, I'm back. I've been in and out like crazy for the last week, but I should be consistently in for a while. I still don't see anything significant enough to warrant a vote, but that could change shortly.

Been lurking, mostly, given how I haven't had much time to actually post. (Coursework and the ilk.)

Anyway, I figure I may as well stay on the Hangem vote, since I prefer not to change my vote without a "better" target to switch to. Also, northjayhawk, I might just be being slightly dense, but I can't actually see what questions there were I'm meant to be answering? (Unless, of course, I misread that and you were referring to Hangem, in which case, apologies for the confusion.)

Also, it's a pity about your bad experience, but you still ought to try and play through it. I'm one of those people who finds an online game, sticks with it for a time, then drops off the radar for about 6 months whilst focusing on others. I've found one of those 'others', yet I'm sticking with the game to avoid looking like a lurker for any metagamers. So please stay, and just try and avoid playing with that certain player again.

Hang 'em has been sitting at L-1 for quite a while now, and hasn't responded. Resigned himself to the gallows? (I realize I shouldn't be slamming anyone for not posting). I'm thinking that I might cast the lynch vote in a day, just to see if the pressure will provoke anything.

Yeah, don't lynch him yet. It will be best with a replacement. Otherwise he could come up ANYTHING!!! And plus we wouldn't get very much information from it. Information -> Good for us -> We have higher chance of beating the Mafia. And vice versa. So no-one ought to lynch Hang 'em (yet).

OK, we're back in business! If we can get everyone (without exceptions) posting again, and have something to post about. In the meantime, we need analyses. And when Hang 'em (or his possible replacement) returns, then we can finally get some answers. I'll post an analaysis later, and in the meantime, I'd like to see what you people think. We need to get this game moving again.

Also,

IH, what are your rules about deadline? I would like to know:
1. if deadlines are retractable?
2. what happens if deadline passes?

We need this game back in play.

This is ridiculous. I understand the deadline is to get us talking, but with Hang 'em not here and he being everyone's top suspect, the game is not going anywhere. He needs to be replaced before we can really move further.
