THAH RULES

1.Obey all rules
2.Do not talk about this game outside of thread unless stated in your role
3.To lynch someone a majority of votes will be needed. To end the day without a lynch, a majority of votes on nolynch will suffice (
vote:nolynch
You still must unvote to remove your vote from nolynch)
4.Votes will be in this format.
Vote:Player
to move your vote
unvote, vote:PlayerB

5.Do not post anything after you have died. You're dead. You may post a simple bah, but nothing more.
6.Do not edit your posts
7.Do not post any pms from me. Claiming "I am Cop/Doc/Townie" AKA paraphrasing is ok.
8.If you have a night action please have it in promptly.
9.If you are going to be gone for any amount of time, please let us know. This game recquires some commitment. Well a good bit. I will prod you if you do not post without some form of indication of being gone.
10.This is a game, have fun. Don't come whining to me "
but IIIIIIIIIIHHHHHHHHHH, they were meeeeeaaaan to meeeee

NOTE-If any of these rules are violated, the following will happen.
Reprimand in thread
Replacement
Modkill
Make fun of you in scumchat.

Thanks and have fun = D

for stealing my random.org shtick. Fie on you!
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Hrrrm. Might just be my paranoia here, but I find JDGA's vote a bit suspect. While there's an OMGUS, he's also pretty much discouraging anyone voting further for Hang 'em High by stating the scum's dead if they quicklynch (and therefore anyone who lynches Hang 'em High is going to be asking to be lynched). And why would someone discourage the group from lynching someone? Because they're their mafia partner.) Hence,
Vote : JDGA
.

I agree with Ben, this seems very simplistic and has about a zero percent chance of working, unless we have some pretty stupid scum lurking among us.

This move just doesnt make a lot of sense for a townie. Even if you are going to go with this page 1 L-2 strategy, I dont think a townie would just blatantly spell out the "trap" in the plan so that even if the scum are dumb enough to fall for it, they would not do so now. You'd secretly keep your motive to yourself and perhaps explain yourself later if someone calls you out on the early L-2.

This reads more like a scum trying to figure out a good way to be helpful and fit in by trying to think of scum-hunting strategy, which a real townie wouldnt think is a good idea.

Well, Northjay, it's a pretty obvious trap- saving for someone on their very first game. Even then, I doubt they'd fall for it, seeing as how it's mentioned it almost every newbie game when somebody hits L-2, so any prereading would likely have revealed it.

At the start of a game I random vote someone using the dice tag.

But if someone voted me before that, then I OMGUS vote them.

Simple.

I just pointed out the L-2 to try and avert suspicion.

(Man, this reminds me of my other game, Newbie 506, where I got suspicion directed at me for a load of BS that they spewed out of my first post. I was town in that game)

For completion, by 'avert suspicion' I mean 'not try to direct the townies towards a mislynch on me. I just don't use the preview button, sorry about that.

Perhaps it's just that I've only seen a few of his posts so far, but it looks to me like JDGA has a habit of preemptively defending himself. JDGA, I'd like you to explain why you feel the need to answer questions before they're even asked.

I didn't read much JDGA's vote on me, since L-2 is relatively safe. Nobody except the most naive player (whether town or scum) would add a third vote this early and I can't see any reasonable player hammering yet. So, the vote itself didn't mean anything to me. However, the above quote does interest me.
@JDGA
: I didn't find your vote suspicious, but the above quote implies that you thought it would be suspicious. If so, why did you make it?
