Bookitty - I get easily frustrated when players misconstrue my words.

When I said "no one likes a town leader" I was pointing out that no one likes "being told what to do". I would have thought this implication was obvious so I became frustrated when you claim something akin to me saying I was declaring myself town leader.

Similar problems apply to 3-4 other things you wrote.

PS: If you really want to push my buttons, you should probably reply now and say something like:

I should probably refer you to the Earth/Fire/Wind/Water thread that was in Mafia Discussion. I'm the only player around who qualifies as 'Heart'. My emotions run wild and free, regardless of alignment, up and down, depending on how I feel from moment to moment. I have no doubt it will always look suspicious until one becomes used to it.

I think you've exactly done that to me for having a different opinion than you, Mills. You've insulted my playing ability on two separate occasions for having a different opinion from you, and I didn't insult you, even in return.

So how do you justify that behaviour? Is it simply "erroneous logic"?

Calling someone's accusations "laughable" does not a defense make. Neither do random insults and refusing to reasonably address a case made against you. It just makes it look like you don't have an answer, which in fact may be true.

Both are sematics issues. Scum are less likely change their minds than townies. Mills's behavior says nothing until we get more info.

WRONG. In much smaller games, such as those played on IRC, this may be true. However, in forum mafia, scum tend to be more opportunistic, and may jump from wagon to wagon. In fact, people who stay on one person consistently are actually more likely to be town, even if they're wrong. Example of such a Pitbull Townie: BattleMage.
