Even though i dont like that Erg0 is voting me, i do agree that logic should be part of the game by at least page 4 or 5. We are on page 6, so i dont believe your thinking that logic at "this stage of the game" is not necessary is a good thing for the town.

How do you figure I am "all instinct"? What does that even mean?

Moreover, why is my refusal to join LU a scumtell?

I know you only gave me 20%, but I can't see how the "all instinct" remark applies to me, or why not joining LU is a scumtell at all.
You aren't. My read on you, however, is 90% instinct based. Your divergence LU is a "town tell" as you drew a lot of attention to yourself with it.

I couldn't have expected better results: just a little bit of erratic behavior brought out two votes and a wagon push by a lurking player.
unvote, vote: The Jive Machine
for the scummy behavior of keeping a low profile and only popping in long enough to try to add some fuel to the hottest fire.

vollkan I think you're reading armlx's percentages backwards. He does it the opposite of you with town =0 scum =100.

As for my Adel vote, it was more a pressure vote, I didn't like her bandwagoning. But I guess your right. Meta'ing her a bit more, she seems to play like this often.

By "like this before," I'm not talking about unbridled bandwagoning, I mean I see you coming up with 'strategies' of unorthadox playstyle whereby you seem to convince yourself you will outscum, as you seem to be with TheJiveMachine. I'd site a Nightless game you played as an alt, but I think it's still ongoing.

My mistake it was completed, I'm referring to your self-voting to L-1 in Quicklynch Nightless as Dischordian Algorithm. It's a brash playstyle that looked scummy, but you thought it would help out scum. I think it's a similar tactic to quite obvious bandwagoning and judging people's responses to it, though not as rash.

Dischordian Algorithm was an experiment to see if I could play as a pseudo-village idiot. It didn't work.

You changed your mind on me because you remembered that game suddenly? Why did you try to make it sound like you did research? Do you usually have faith on meta-reads based upon one game? Why should anyone have any faith in your opinion at this point?

I was trying to find examples of your D1 play. But you seem to like replacing into games after things get going, so aside from newbies (which I don't like to use for metas) that was the most recent game of yours I could find. I had read that game a long while ago and it stuck in my head because I found it odd that someone would want to play as an alt. I reread that game more closely for content and it seemed like a similar strategy to me.

I do small sample metas when the case is necessary, and in finding recent D1 play where I know your alignment this is the case. Small sample meta analysis helped me win Open 44 recently so yes I do think they are a valid tool.

I don't think anyone should have faith in anothers opinion, they should weigh it for what it's worth based on the evidence provided. You obviously aren't liking what I'm saying so I wouldn't be surprised if your faith was lacking.

I clearly was wrong with the wording of this comment. I should have made more clear what I was referencing at the time, and that from your response I could see that you were playing for reaction.

My previous four posts, which would have been two if not for the CPU quota fairy, were replies to two direct posts from Adel. I fail to see how this is frenetic posting, and I think that you are making baseless acusations to fan the flames.

I really don't know what to make of the game for the past few pages. I'm used to people presenting long, thorough, and carefully conceived arguments for the points they are trying to state. Regardless, I'll present what I've managed to pick out that speaks to me.

TheJiveMachine: Sorry, you aren't jiving to me. You haven't contributed any notable arguments, or arguments in general. I feel it's nothing short of a totality of apathy in your general direction. I mean really, the game is all about communication. Just Communication (Gundam Wing ^_^).

FOS: TheJiveMachine

shaft.ed: Pooky's psuedo haiku has a point. What's with the about face on pressing Adel? While I disagree with her methods at least she's encouraged discussion from our less represented participants. You're being a lil' shiiiiiifty.

FOS: shaft.ed

vollkan: teeheehee, it's just a random jokey thing! Then why are you still voting me? *frowny* I hope there is a higher purpose. Also what's the deal with just having a little aside conversation with Dean for like three pages? This isn't Shakespeare.

IGMEOY: vollkan

Pooky: You're "helpful" in the way that you give me almost no dialogue to actually analyze. Friend or foe? Will you take the money, or will we split it?

Dean and Erg0: Don't really understand the lover's quarrel, but would like more information besides your inability to communicate to each other apparently. It's Just Communication.

curious: Curiouser and curiouser! I don't really see how your questioning of Pooky is anyway equivalent to Adel's. Perhaps it was a "bubbling" affect, but I think you're the only person who focused so much on two letters. But your notation of Armix's consistent agreement with Adel seems valid.

Armix: Still don't undersand, and now with percentages? Don't you know that 83% of the world's statistics are just made up? Please clarify your "findings"

IGMEOY: armix

One scum wont vote for the other even when he's digging his own grave, but tries to look suspicious of him to distance himself. How cute.

It's such a fricking rough dilemma to decided which one we should hang up first. There's more room for JiveMachine to build on and maybe be (very lurky, very scummy) town, but the way shaft.ed is squirming is so funny I almost want to watch more of it.

My my my. We now have a rodeo.
I was refering to the fact Jive only FOS'ed shaft instead of voting him when he is clearly the best lead.

The percentages roughly equate to:
100%: Gotten by a cop/watcher/etc
80%: Good Lynch Candidate
60%: Voteable for pressure reasons
40%: Look for more patterns, FOSable
20%: 1-2 tells, good for now
0%: Not voting for you today.

They were carefully made to total 300%, which you may note is 3 (the typical number of mafia in a mini) times 100%.

Current %ages.

Shaft: 80%
Jive: 60%
Pooky: 40%
Adel: 40%
Karmadog: 40% (if Pooky is scum, number increases)
Dean Harper: 20%
Volkan: 20%
TG & Ergo: 0%

The some of the formerly scummy (Adel and Pooky namely) moved down as we have real lynch targets to go after now. List is mostly in order of scumminess for the people I actually find scummy.
