A far second to curious.Erg0 wrote:
Once again, I find this strange. It appears that you're trying to distance yourself from a townie lynch that you were on yourself. In fact, you confirmed your vote on Beep on the last page, which would indicate that you had some belief that he was scum.TrustGossip wrote:I'd just like to say my current suspicions are of Erg0 and curiouskarmadog.
Unfortunately, you weren't reallyparticipatingin the phase of the game where I pushed hard for a curious lynch, but I eventually gave up in favor of trying to get a lurker to post more. My confirm was more of a reminder to Beep to play the game past his defense of his armix hammer. All we really got from Beep was his hammer, and not that much about what he felt about everyone else.
Adel: I don't really understand how you've arrived at your impression of me. I would just like to remind you that someone who muddies the waters isn't necessarily doing so because he would like to cloud your vision, but because he's searching for something important in the lake floor.Compcrack

You do realise how that makes you look, given that he was speedlynched by scum as soon as I put the second vote on him? It makes you look like scum setting up a mislynch whilst maintaining a position of deniability, from which you can point at the person who makes the second vote and say "look, he's all suspicious!""You were doing well until everyone died."

Nice sidestep, but my point isn't about whether you were thinking about how you look at the time. It's about the shaky ground you're standing on when trying to direct suspicion at me for joining your townie wagon.
In any case, I think you knowexactlyhow you look now, given your immediate attempts to distance yourself from the lynch."You were doing well until everyone died."

This is my immediate attempt to distance myself from the lynch?TrustGossip wrote:

Your first reaction to a townie lynch that you were on was to "megaFOS" the other person on the wagon. It appears to me that you're trying to shift the blame elsewhere in order to minimise your perceived responsibility for the mislynch. If someone didn't check the votecount, they'd never know that you were even involved based on that post."You were doing well until everyone died."

With regard to context, it was fairly clear that Pooky's FoS was due to my vote, so QFTing him thus implies that you also found my vote suspicious. Your previous talk about me focused on my lack of contribution without strongly expressing suspicion on those (or any other) grounds, so it's hardly reasonable to conclude that you were using that as the basis of your QFT.
The votecount thing is not intended to be taken literally. I was emphasising the point that you completely ignored the fact that you'd contributed to a townie's lynch, and focused instead on going after me, apparently for the same thing."You were doing well until everyone died."

Two comments:TG wrote: Why wouldn't people check the votecount??? I don't really understand what hypothetical logic you're using. I was agreeing with Pooky in his assessment of you. In addition, I've suspected you and CDK all game, calling my actions distancing is a gross removal of context.
1) As far as I can see, the only constant grounds of complaint you have had against Erg0 has been inactivity. That's fine; I hate lurking also - but it doesn't qualify as you having "suspected" Erg0 "all game".
2) Explain why you agree with Pooky's megaFoS-

A cod is a big heavy fish. If you carry one you will burn a lot of calories, which will help keep you warm. Also,TrustGossip wrote:
But she isn't. It's codliver oil. At least my metaphor made sense...Adel wrote:The woman who carries a cod next to her liver is likely to remain free from cold. Your point?
so the pun point out that cod liver oil helps prevent some common illnesses.Wikipedia wrote:Cod liver oil is a nutritional supplement that is derived from cod livers. It has high levels of the omega-3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, and very high levels of vitamin A, and vitamin D. It is widely taken to ease the symptoms of arthritis. It was commonly given to children.
...
Cod liver oil is widely taken to ease the pain and joint stiffness associated with arthritis,[1] but has also been clinically proven to have a positive effect on heart,[2][3] bone,[4] and brain,[5] as well as helping to nourish skin,[6] hair, and nails.
Cod liver oil and fish oil are similar, but cod liver oil has much higher levels of vitamins A and D. Many adults don't meet the RDA for Vitamin D.[7][8][9][10]
In 2005, a study by researchers at the University of California found that Vitamin D may lower the risk of developing different types of cancers, halving the chances of getting breast, ovarian, and colon cancers.[11]
Use of cod liver oil during pregnancy is associated with lower risk of Type I diabetes in the offspring.[12] This effect was found only in mothers taking cod liver oil, not in mothers taking multivitamin supplements. Cod liver oil taken by nursing mothers improves the breast milk by increasing the amount of fatty acids, which promotes brain development, and the amount of vitamin A, which helps prevent infections, but the level of vitamin D is unchanged.
Mine not only makes sense, but it is also true.-

I don't think I was going after anyone. What I wanted was for everyone to weigh in on the aftermath before we decided on a leader. I didn't want the game to degrade into a "he said, she said" but that's apparently what happened.Erg0 wrote:I was emphasising the point that you completely ignored the fact that you'd contributed to a townie's lynch, and focused instead on going after me, apparently for the same thing.
Then I get you and Adel smacking me in the face. I am currently more confused than trying to string you up or something. Also I think you're confusing me defending against you as attacking.Compcrack
