I've come to agree with this logic, hence the reason Killa isn't higher on my scummy list.

best post yet.
Anyone else would be insulted by TSPN's comment. Of course, because you care solely about survival, you are just relieved to see someone bailing you out, right?

@Lloyd- An interesting decision. Ive never seen anyone do that before in any game. You must have alot of faith in me as a scumhunter, and as far as affiliation goes. Or is this a test of sorts? ;)

Battle Mage, your 17th post.
Could you justify this statement? I find lurkerscum to be threats because they don't give any material to the town, so you don't think about them, and then they survive and are out of suspicion. This in its very nature is threatening, is it not?
I was talking about the 100% lurkers. The other part who post just enough to stay in the game give off signs. Still, they are of a lesser threat because they will not lead the town, which frequent posters are capable of doing.

Only explanation I have for Lloyd's recent miller masons comment is that...Masons vote together, and since you have his vote to use as well, and you are a claimed Miller, Lloyd becomes a Miller Mason? Other than that, I can't make heads or tails of why anybody would post a comment like that except to claim...

Can a Mason even be a Miller? Or vise versa?
Willing to replace in any game, have some background experience but haven't gotten all of the specifics down, ie. abbreviations and other terms...

Masons vote together?
what kind of wierd mechanic is this?
A mason can be a miller, but i dont get how a mason comes into it.

maybe he's saying that he is a miller and millers should stick together (like masons), so your vote is his vote?

I dislike Lloyd's proxy vote very much. It seems like an excuse to lurk since the vote will still be moving around.

Agreed. And his miller mason comment confuses me. Although he said this proxy vote was just for a day, it might have been an attempt to get himself out of the spotlight.

Antithesis wrote:This is the first full sized game here that I was able to start in from the very beginning. My other games here I either joined into them after the wagon stuff was over, or it was a game with time and post limits, so band wagons were not going to be prevalent anyway. A majority of games I have played were offsite. They have all had 48 hour day phases and 24 hour night phases. There, literally, you can vote on someone and log off only to learn they were lynched an hour later.

So, maybe that is why I tend to be more cautious with my vote.
In contrast, I like Antithesis' explanation why he is more cautious with his vote than most players in this game.

Regarding lurkerscum, I agree with Khelvaster, and disagree with Kaleidoscope.

Lurkerscum is always a threat, because he / she can kill townies at night.

In a game of this size:
- 2 weeks: If someone doe not post every 2 weeks, he / she should be prodded
- 3 weeks: If someone doe not post every 3 weeks, he / she should be prodded a second time
- 4 weeks: If someone does not post after 4 weeks, he / she should be replaced unless he / she has a posting restriction

If someone does not post after 4 weeks, has no post restriction, AND Refuses to be replaced, then I am going to assume that he / she is scum.

You are generous with the time you give Lloyd. I give them 2, 3 wks max before I attack and even less if they posted something implying they were going to be non-interactive.

Your playstyle is different. I'll grant you that. I'm curious what you consider as legitimate reasons then.

- What do you consider as legitimate reasons to vote on day 2?

- Would they be reasons that don't exist on day 1?

well,

I'm not liking the proxying. How can we analyse someone's voting pattern, when they weren't placing their own posts? Also not liking the backdoor implication of miller masonhood.

lol if he claims miller, he is scum. A game with 2 millers is nothing short of a Bastard Mod. :P
My gut tells me that because Lloyd is getting a fair bit of heat for this, odds are the pressure is being fueled by at least 1 scumbag, and as such, its a probable towntell.

Though id still like an explanation of the miller-mason thing.
