Hmm. I'm thinking it may be time to have some actual content.

I'm not going to unvote as yet -- I find OMGUS votes (especially in response to random votes) rather suspicous.

OTOH, it's worth noting that IS getting bumped off sez (to me) that we've got at least some experienced players among the mafia.

Aside from myself, coolbot, and Pooky, who's got reasonable amounts of experience among the living?

I'm fairly experienced, though I do find it quite hilarious that IS died night 1.

I don't follow your logic here.
Can you explain that?
Also, what are all those talks about IS and Locus?

mneme: Even inexperienced people are aware of IS. And I'd hate to be nitpicky, but someone could be experienced and be new to mafiascum.

This is a list of everyone I'm pretty sure knows IS. That doesn't mean the others done. In any case, I think it's a waste of time. All that it means is that there's a higher than normal chance that one or more mafia are in this group.

StD: thanks for the list. Obviously, it only increases the odds of finding therianthropes a small amouint, but any odds improvement that doesn't have a major downside is usually worthwhile. (plus, it gives us something new to discuss, which is a good goal in and of itself, IMO).

Stam: Experienced players will, generally speaking, (as first night scum kills) hit other competent and experiennced players. This is for a number of reasons, starting with the idea of killing the people you most fear, moving on to that of not making a night 1 kill on somene very new before they even get a turn in, and probably for other reasons as well. IS is probably particularly good in that respect, since he's less likely to get doc protection (because his playstyle annoys some people).

By contrast, very new players often don't know who the big names are, and are less likely to be bit with the "let them get a game in" meme.

Obviously, you can't read too much into it, and people do doublethink (especially hitting midlist players rather than top drawer to avoid suspision on choice grounds), but it's a useful starting point.

Well maybe you can assume one of them is mafia, but what is to say it's not one and only one experinced?
In a game this size I'd expect there to be an experienced mafia member.

A therianthrope is a shapechanger who has human as one of their shapes (anthro=human) -- it's the generic of which lycanthrope is a more specific susbset.

Coron: it's possible. But I'd guess 2 and 2, or 2 and 3, split either way, given the IS choice and the game breakdown.

Unvote Panda
Even though he said never to trust me :P

You can trust me, i'm nice, and white.

Anyways, I'm gonna
Vote: mneme
.

Not really a good reason, but he said that there was potentionally experienced members in the mafia right? Well, that includes you, don't it?

It's not much, but worth a vote to me.

therianthrope as I learned it is a person with an animal soul. The people I met who called themselves that were really paranoid, because they got a lot of wannabes and such.

But I'd definately buy that definition, mneme.

Well, I guess I get the bandwagoning out of my system early and huggle Pooky myself.

Now I'm confused.
I see three of you hugging Pooky - MoS, draygn_mage and bamboomancer.
Does any of them happen to be his lover or are these just friends.
Sorry to get too personal, but this sonnete really puzzles me.
