Is that Newbish for "I don't know whom we should lynch right now, I will decide later" or do you really want day 1 to end without any lynch?

Dude. One vote for no lynch isn't actually going to make a no lynch occur. People should not get all uptight about it.

The truth is, no lynch doesn't help the town at all (except in rare circumstances, and this is not one of them). So if you feel you have no one to vote for, just don't vote for anyone. Don't vote no lynch.

No lynch is really only good with even numbers on small numbers like 6 and 4.

I haven't been posting much because i'm relatively new and still gathering on people's playstyles, but i'm gonna leave my random up for now because I don't ahve a reason to change it.

I definately agree that we should lynch someone today.
It's just that I am not sure FD2 knows what he is talking about.
I saw many newbies, including myself, voting "no lynch" just to signal they have no current suspect.

No lynch definetily doesnt help the town because the person you lynch could be mafia or SK, and if it is a townie than that is only one person, and when there is this big of a game one townie wont effect the game that much... Also, i think Enigma is definetily lurking, so my vote stands.

FD2 probably didn't really know the rules, and I don't think that this is really a reason to lynch him, but I don't really know of any better targets.

lol, give him a break guys. While it's definitely
not
the best course of action in this case, sometimes it's helpful and I think FD2 is a bit confused, or maybe just made a mistake. It is one of his first games here, after all.

I can't understand it why is no lynch so bad? so far there is no proof of a sk, and right now we have nothing to go on except feelings. The only things that i have to go on right now are pooky claiming and the playful meme thing. Could someone explain why no lynch is so bad?

The way the town wins is by lynching. There is no alternative. Without a good reason not to, we lynch.

Why is FD2 being inexperienced an excuse? It's a mistake that indicates an unwillingness to risk a lynch. Since the only ones that can win without lynches is anti-town, it's a mistake the indicates scum.

CoolBot,
I saw many newbies voting "no lynch". Both mafia and protown. I voted "no lynch" in my first game as a cop. I am sure you saw newbie protown voting "no lynch" too.
I don't like FD2's failure to defend him/herself, but frankly, I think your behavior is more scumy.

Whoa guys and a BIG FOS there. Coolbot did nothing scumy there. In fact normally scum isn't going to be so forthright and challenging cause it looks so scummy. Coolbot believes the statement was costly-misguided sentiment perhaps but I can understand that. Jumping quick on coolbot like that has me scratching my head.

I think Phoebus said something about FD2 having PC trouble.

Anyway, it's not forthright. It's obvious. We've had this discussion so much, that scum could jump on against it, lead a bandwagon against a no lyncher (which is frequent newbie behavior), and get the town to lynch them (which is common town behavior).

A no-lynch does prevent the town from lynching an innocent. Although I'd rather have an innocent die to narrow the choices than nobody to die, preventing the possibility of maifa dying (only if there is one group).

Frankly, I don't see ther being a great argument behind scum using no lynch. It's good enough, but it's easy to make the justification otherwise.

The fact that Coolbot apparently doesn't think so makes me wonder if he truely believes that regardless of experience, no one can come to an alterior conclusion if they think about it long enough or he's scum looking for an easy target.

A vote is not a condemnation, PB. And I sure as heck don't know, nor can control, what roland and Stam think.

I just found the vote odd. Coolbot is not one going after the Noob but defending and coming right out with it. I just noticed the quick pile of 3 votes out of no-where. 3 votes Bam, bam, bam is unusual. Doesn't make him not scom but makes one wonder.

And yes I know a vote is just a vote.

folks call a lot of stuff "scummy" that isn't really scummy. Scum tried hard to blend in. Making an obvious push like Coolbot comes off to me more a matter of perspective then anything resembling actually scumminess. At least that is how I see it.
