You can buy with coin from provincesyou have an office in during a week,, first.

Once you are done buying (possibly even in the same post)

you can start trading. Now some people are using the term "buy" from each other , but really they are "Trading coins for goods" or "trading goods for goods"

Then you can sell goods for coins to your offices in your provinces in cas much like CES has already done. If he wanted to, he could still sell the two grain he has.

But because he has already bought, traded and sold this turn , all he can do is sell now.

I have not sold, but I have traded, so I may still continue to trade until I decide to sell.

Do capacity limits take place at the end of the week? I mean, with my 20 capacity from two offices, can I have 20 resources plus the 4 resources to upgrade an office, plus the two grain to maintain my offices? Or could I purchase 100 units of something provided I trade it away by the end of the week?

I was going to use Excel to maintain my trades. Is it possible to get your tables in a text format so I don't have to retype everything into Excel?

Also, can my buying phase last more than one post, provided I haven't started the trading or selling phases yet?

buy 4 timber and 4 brick - unused capacity is 12
upgrade both offices to lvl2 - 8 resources consumed and 4 additional capacity added from upgrade. Unused capacity is now 24.
Buy 24 whatever - Unused capacity is 0.
Trade phase begins, with no unused capacity, I may not get more resources than I give.
Sell phase where I unload all remaining resources except the 2 grain needed to maintain my offices.

You can't upgrade two offices, I believe, but you've got the right idea otherwise. An upgrade is instantaneous.

The capacity limits take place all the time: you can never have more goods than your capacity allows. If you check the table: upgrading to some levels costs more goods than the capacity of the previous level, so later you will have to upgrade not only one office but more.
I don't like the table system in this forum, and plain text doesn't fit well, so all I could do is upload my word file, then you can download it.
All phases may last as many posts you want. You can also go through multiple phases in one post (if you perform them in the right order.

Correct. Now you need to do that correctly in bold before the end of the week .

You can upgrade two offices once (but not one office twice): you can upgrade each office once per week. Then you can also build an office, but building counts as upgrading to lvl1 so you can't upgrade an office you just built.

@Raffles: the eastern provinces close to asia (asia, arabia and aegyptus) deal in luxury goods. If you own one of these provinces and a province in the west (brittannia for example) you can make huge profits. It's just that the investment is huge too, so you'll be at a disadvantage first and at an advantage later.

I would appreciate it if the trade values for Afrika's "High-end" goods could be evaluated. In every case, that regions buy price is the same or higher than Roma and the sell price is also either the same or lower than Roma.
