A) Possibly. But it's far more likely to catch scum.
B) Reactions are what this game is all about. Scum are more likely to overreact because they have more to lose by dying than a townie does.

More Malthusis votes would be good. I'm interested to see how he'd react under real pressure.

Coheed -Is this your first game? I ask sense you have a scorecard and are currently showing 0 wins for 0 plays. As for why Caf might want to put 4 or more votes on you there could be multiple reasons including but not limited to:

A. He's town and looking for a reaction and the best way to get a reaction in this game is to put multiple votes on someone to see what they do. =Most Likely

B. He's scum and wants to start a waggon on you so you can get lynched. =Least likely IMHO since no one is going to be willing to go from random voting to lynching on little information.

S_O_W - Not a lot to say at the moment had some major issues come up in RL so was away from the computer for a day or two I've learned these games kinda run at the speed of slow so don't always check the site everyday.

Er, let me get this straight. Firstly you're wary of me because I accused two people of teaming up. Now, you're accusing me of... teaming up. Way to go full circle. Also, if you're really bothered about why nobody voted for me, it makes me wonder why you didn't just vote for me yourself.

I don't have much to say about Coheed really. Putting him at 4 votes wouldn't really be a problem - with 7 to lynch he's not in any danger at 4. I don't really want to put a fourth one on myself (I already vote-hopped once, that's enough for this early stage) but I wouldn't be overly bothered if someone else did.

I agree that Malthusis should be looked into. During the first few pages of the game a "Major FoS" is pretty dramatic - I'd say it is actually more accusatory than a vote, as votes get thrown around for any (or no) reason but a "Major FoS" connotes that you actually want that person lynched, to some extent. I'm not usually a fan of the "testing" tactic Mac employed (they don't seem to yield results very often and I don't think that being cryptic is a good way to act as town) but nevertheless i agree that Malthusis over-reacted.

I definitely think Malthusius isn't looking good right now, between his "Major FoS" on Macavenger and the use of "I did it to create conversation", which always makes me twitch. It's worth noting that in this case he wasn't even being called out for saying it, just disagreed with. At the very least, he's very defensive.

Shepherd_of_Wolves is pushing the caf/Coheed connection hard. caf has a point in that he doesn't control who he votes for, but in Shepherd's reply to him he doesn't really respond to that and instead goes off on something completely different. In any case, I don't think scum would openly defend each other so early.

Populartajo, why is it you dont think reactions can be used to find scum? I dont think that they should be the sole reasoning for scum accusations, but I do think they can be helpful.

I actually agree with avenger on the fact that reactions can help you catch scum. I gave an FoS because I thought that a vote on someone would sound more scummy right now then a FoS.

I am not fully convinced that you are not one or both scum. But, I too realize that the small link I suggested is not compelling evidence either. At this point, it is difficult to see who really is scum. I am not convinced that anyone looks innocent. However, I know that most of us are and only a few are scum.

Caf, I did not vote you for two reasons. First, as I clearly stated:

The second reason I did not change my vote is because I have no need to vote hop, when I can state my observations and wait to hear your response and the village response.

Consistant with my interests, I would like to see Travis continue to participate in the conversation. The less people talk, the slower the game moves. We all have to contribute. And I fully anticipate that riceballtail will converse.
