Da Rules (Stolen from Haylen, since I like hers the most)
During the Day...
1.
The game is a Day Start.
2.
You must bold your votes as such
Vote: Battle Mage
, please put the unvote where I can see it though, at the bottom of the post preferably. Unvoting makes me happy, but isn't completely necessary.
3.
Each Day will have a deadline of 3 weeks, not reaching a majority of votes during that time will result in a no lynch. I may extend the deadline in special circumstances. I may also reduce the deadline by one day each time if activity does not pick up. Don't lurk. Lurking makes me sad
4.
Mafia may not speak to each other during the day, lest you be smited.
5.
You may not quote your role PM's or any other communication outside thread, with the mod. Lest you be smited.
6.
I don't like cheaters.
(a)
Anybody who is found to be using invisible text, spoiler tags, encryption or anything as such will be smited unless they have an extremely good reason. Not knowing is not a good reason.
(b)
If you have the power to edit yours or anyone elses posts. Dont. Lest you be smited.
7a.
If you do not post within 72 hrs, you will receive a prod. Failure to response to the prod within 72 hrs will result in an automatic replacement. Three prods with result in an automatic replacement aswell.
b.
All mod communication should be opened as they are likely to contain important information about the game. This is to prevent mistakes with prods ect.
c.
If the third real life day after a prod is sent occurs during the night, then players are required to reply to their prod via PM. This is so that if a replacement is needed one can be found ASAP.
8.
If you don't post for a whole game day, you'll be forcibly replaced.
During Twilight
1.
Votes and unvotes will not be counted after a lynch.
2.
The person lynched may still talk during Twilight.
3.
Mafia still can't talk during this time.
During the Night Phase
1.
The Night Phase will last 72 hrs. I like this number. Any actions that have not been received by then will be forgone. (Night may end early if all actions are received)
2.
If your role permits it, you may talk to the players I have given you permission to talk to during the night.
3.
Mafia, whoever sends in the kill, don't try and kill your partners, I will not be messed with.
4.
Don't try and impersonate the mafia by sending me fake action PM's, I will not appreciate it, and you will be smited.
General Rules
1.
I will not accept insulting behaviour in my games, anybody doing so will receive a nice, well worded warning from me in thread. Further breaking of the rule will receive a harsher punishment.
2.
Various shades of lightish blue
are my colour. Sometimes I like to edit your posts, if I do I'll use my colour.
3.
Never talk to anybody outside the game except if your role permits it, and I have told you you can talk now.
4.
Don't piss off the mod. You will be smited.
5.
If you think you have found a loophole with my rules, you haven't. I will recognise a loophole breakage and punish you accordingly.
6.
Smitings (AKA) 'Modkills', means I kill you immediately (for breaking the rules) and change your role to Neutral Survivor, meaning you auto-lose. Smitings (AKA) 'Modkills' automatically end the day. Period.
7.
Play to win, just like everyone else. Don't get disheartened if you're lynched or attacked, basically don't take anything personally. If you feel somebodies behaviour has been inappropriate PM me about it and I will deal with it in some form or another.
8.
Thy mod is thy god...however, I may make a mistake, if I do; PM me about it and I'll deal with it in some form or another.
9.

Treat this game as a commitment, and be courteous to your fellow players. It will make everybody, including your mod happy. Smile
11.
It is my prerogative to change the rules if I deem it necessary, you shall receive a notification in thread and a PM aswell to notify you of these changes.

I like receiving PM's, if anybody fancies PMing me for a chat or rant go for it. I can't talk about game specifics though, obv obv.

The game will follow one of the following rolesets:
A) 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 1 Town Cop, 1 Town Doc, 5 Vanilla Townies
B) 1 Mafia Goon, 1 Mafia Roleblocker, 7 Townies
C) 2 Mafia Goons, 1 Sane Cop, 6 Townies
D) 2 Mafia Goons, 1 Doctor, 6 Townies

Hello everyone, I am your IC for this game. That simply means that I have played quite a few games here on the site, and know how things work. I not only am here to play, but also to help you guys through any problems that you may have, and answer any questions about the game, theory, or anything you can think of.
I do have a question though for everyone so I can get a bit of an idea for what I can expect: How much experience do you have playing mafia, either on other forums, or in real life (face to face)?
I'm an SE for this game, which just means I have a bit of experience on here, but unlike Llama I'm not obliged to teach you a thing :p
I've been playing forum mafia for about a year and a half, started on a gaming site for fun which was a big joke really, then came here about 6months ago and played some 10-15 games so far. I'm currently in about 6-8 games so go easy on me at times!
I am like DP in a way, started on another site playing mafia about a year ago then a few months ago moved here. Have since played a couple games here (ironically I HAVE played with Llama and DP before)
I am also an SE, which means I have completed at least 2 games, which in no way, shape or form means I am good =) I will try to offer any experience I may have and if I am wrong I will expect Llama to correct me.
One of the pages I was shown in my first game was the abbreviation page which I will post below, lots of players here use abbreviations or acronyms and I found this page very handy instead of asking a ton of questions a page. However do feel free to ask any questions you may have as it is Llama's duty to answer them This game is for the new people first and foremost to get you used to the game.

Hi everyone. This is my first game on this site, though i played on some other site about 2 years ago, which was more just joking, voting people every post, fast game, etc.
But in the time it took for this game to be created i checked out the wiki a bit and was reading some other newbie game threads (though just starting 3-4 pages mostly and perhaps a page or 2 before lynches).

1. My username originated one day when I was trying to find a new username to replace my old one (which was Xtremheadblo; pretty retarded if I do say so myself). I eventually came up with Mirror, but sadly it was taken everywhere. Then I thought of MirrorrorriM, but that just didn't seem to pop out enough (I am very picky). So I thought of putting an "I" in between the "Mirror"s (you know cause it kinda looks like a divider/mirror) and then I got my username, MirrorIrorriM!
2. My avatar picture I made after a comic character I once made up named Koiki. I never did anything with it but I had the picture so I decided to use it.
3. I am on the east coast of the U.S. UTC -5 I think

Hi, the game has actually not started yet for one thing, so don't get too excited yet! (Although it is great to get acquainted)

If you look at my past games most of the time when I am town I end up thinking everyone is scum (because I only know I am town) and end up accusing pretty much everyone else of being scum, especially when someone votes for me. I think in most of my previous town games I have been lynched on D1 - whereas when I am scum I can usually end-game or win

My job is keeping track of vote counts and lynches/night actions when applicable, making sure that the rules are followed, writing flavour when I can, and answering any questions you may have. MD is not useful. RVS is far more useful than posting useless questions. I'm okay with people using questions instead of RVS if they are actually useful but those questions were some of the worst I've ever seen someone start the day with.
I find it interesting you just jumped on a bandwagon, giving no reason whatsoever. That puts him on L-2 and if the 2 mafia were here they could easily achieve a lynch for them.
Of course there's the option we are all right and he really is mafia, but it's too early to conclude that.
So why aren't you posting in a way to get reactions/find information/analyse players so you can find a person who is "worthy" of your vote? Wouldn't that be the pro-town thing to do, rather than throwing in the towel, saying "i have no idea, i'll just put a vote on this guy for nor reason, and that's the end of my post"
