There’s a reason for this. Not being a full claim ties scum to a fake claim without knowing what could damn them.

Based upon what people say we can use that to backtrack if a roleblocker is possible (no one has said blocker yet which is one of the types) so we can poke around and see what PRs could.

If all the scum claim miscellaneous for example to try to get out of the mass claim then in elo when true claims happen scum get wrecked. Because the town would have knowledge about who to act on based on role claims.

Eg Grey said Misc/Invest. This means if he scumread say Cassoway (making this up they aren’t a scumread) and was a rolecop and got Tracker on Cassoway. That means there is a tracker in the game. And on Cassoway doesn’t make sense because misc. Then if no other invest claims he can then know he was likely bus driven to a scum tracker or Cassoway lied.

Similarly if Grey is a tracker and invests Misc Cassoway to the kill, then can ask for a full claim and if it makes no sense for Cassoway to go to the kill as miscellaneous win win same reason.

By half claiming this enables town to know who exactly they can check with the best result. But since it’s not a full claim scum don’t know who the threat is.

This is only step one btw

I still stand by the fact that if Grendel doesn't shoot tonight then the number of bodies ought to give us significantly more info to sort his slot with and it puts scum in the awkward position of having to decide whether to kill him or not if he is a town vig.

I get why math wants to lim him but if scum have RB then math seems like an obvious target given his dog softing yesterday (tracker would've been a reasonable guess for role based on the flavour). Maybe misty could confim him tonight?

It is very possible that I am missing something here but for the poeple who want to vote grendel, how do you explain the second kill N1? The most feasible explanation I could think of if grendel!scum is that we have an SK, but that would mean misty must be mafia, and she has looked pretty town to me all game.

See where I am at is two fold:

If Grendel is scum like my loyal check would seem to indicate then Misty is probably lock town
If Grendel is SK then Misty is conf scum for lying and the more she says “It’s vague” to what question did you ask the moderator the more sus I am of her Oracle claim, and this might be the world we’re in where Misty guessed a vig.
If Grendel is town then Misty is lock town and one or more of GreyICE/you/someone hood with crumbs is dead

1) Claiming what actions I have done tells scum what I can't do in the future and gives them a safety blanket. Ex: If I said I copped you, scum would know you're likely the last alignment investigator and shoot you as I likely don't get 2 cop shots. If scum don't know my features, they have to be wary of everything. (Note: Cop on Math was purely hypothetical.)

2) If a contradictory claim comes up in the future, I can duel scum then instead of letting them know what is safe to claim.

Grendel is the smart play if he was anything besides vig.

There’s no way to tell if it’s a factional soup or if it’s an actual vig.

If it’s a factional flavor vig (and Grendel is scum) then I am the only one but I have claimed multiple flavors and scum have to guess which is correct to hit me. Where as if it is a vig, I can ask Grendel to holster or hit scum.

It can’t be a factional role vig as Vax’s role was unclaimed along with Kop.

So by doing claims the way I did, it ensures that I am the kill when if Grendel is town my PR was useless as I am blocked anyway. This is more about buying time for everyone to figure it out and limiting fake claims.

The Oracle (if Misty is town) should be able to ask questions based on category claims based on the wiki if she is town that way it wouldn’t be alignment indicative but catch scum.

So then if I live, scum considered Misty the bigger threat which means scum blocked me probably leaving PRs to do their thing and the focus will be on the non conf town

Like, does MistyX-scum mod meta iso Gamma Emerald, decide that "I'd never put more than 3 scum in a mini" means that there's only 3 scum and no SK in this game, and stick her neck out for a potential SK?

I'd feel it a lot more likely that MistyX legitimately got info there's no third parties, regardless of her alignment (Note: If someone is a third party that can win with the town, this is where you can claim to actually earn third party "honorary town" credit). Or even that Gamma gave scum some sort of very limited vig, and that misty was team-scum trying to save her teammate. Because remember, Grendel-SK would know for an ABSOLUTE FACT that MistyX was lying scum here, meaning if he ever needed to shoot someone to even up the sides he'd have a known scum. I just don't see scum sticking their neck out to save a friggin SK, when an SK vote means guaranteed no scum vote today.

I think if Misty is scum, scum Misty would know there’s three scum and takes a shot it’s a vig or rolecopped Dann. Either that or Dann is scum Vig with Misty and then they thought unlikely an SK.

my modifier is that if im unable to preform a kill two consecutive nights in a row then i die. That does include role blocking, protectives, or if I just don't submit a kill.

So its like compulsive, but the modifier's name is "Starving" which im guessing Gamma made up for this game, as my flavor describes me killing and eating other players for food.
