I was writing a post similar to fire's, that I think donempire is sort of wolfy for overusing "remember we prefer to kill mafia over serial killer today"; I think although I can see the point, it only makes sense as a legit reason to argue to avoid limming someone if your ability to pinpoint the SK is nearly perfect (not applicable)

Yeah, that should be easy. Here's my "read progression" in the spoilers below. Note that i didn't give a specific reason for townreading shea.

Honestly don't like status' and fire's back and forth at all. It feels more like a forum discussion than anything meaty. I also didn't like the e-1 vote at all. It's not a personality thing, i've seen so many games where scum put e-1 to hide behind the "joking, funny" defense. Thing is, pushing someone based on them putting someone at e-1 is also not a substantial push, so if they can make the push out to be just that, it essentially saves them the day.

Tldr, dont like status so far.

I think experienced scum (or rather knowledgable scum) reacts exactly like Appearance does. That is, trying to deflect attention, being overly apologetic (171,173,182), trying to make out his push to be a misunderstanding, and spamming posts in such a quick succession that don't seem like scumhunting but rather panicking to being on a knife's edge. I do think an experienced scum would have handled this better, but then again i don't think he has that experience.

I think that my status read has been fairly consistent up until post 461, which has been to scumread him constantly, so i assume you're asking about 461. And 461 is more about fire and appearance rather than shea. See, i had little time in d1 to make a case on shea, fire and push my appearance is sk therefore no lim strategy. I wanted to reduce the number of fronts i'd be fighting essentially. My read on shea hadn't actually changed, but i wanted him to be a non factor and maybe even back me up when i would push fire. If i were to antagonize him further i feared it would be harder to get a fire wagon up and running. You might think this is nonsensical, but check my previous town games where i constantly do this.

I think the game fire recently played with me, the scarfolk open c9++ one, is a good example of how I would play as SK. like I was technically groupscum, but it was 2 mafia in a game of 13, and my partner slot was very absent (replaced twice) and always looked like they would die way before me. I felt like an SK and basicallyy played my scum meta. like I did super in-depth explainy things to win a bunch of townreads and I could see the negatives in everyone and tried at many opportunities to push people and keep testing the waters. here I think I could be cleared as non-sk just off how drastically I am not playing like that particular game in any way

There’s a weird difference where you say “my gut is telling me it’s one or both of these two” and then you behave as though you’re insanely confident in your two scumreads. I think a lot of aspects of your play don’t make sense if you’re not literally 99.99% sure fire and delta are scum. so then it’s a wolfy difference when you talk about them as weakly as “it’s my gut saying there’s either only one or both are scum”

For example, I don’t believe u genuinely considered the possibility that Datisi or i is scum. Like maybe for a moment you acknowledged it’s a possibility but if you’re not really really confident it’s definitely just fire/delta like win the game, then the amount of thinking about whether datisi or me is mafia just doesn’t meet what I expect to see in village play

see like there are definitely some parts of this post where you are talk about it as if you are 1000% confident. for example the last line. dont think it makes sense for town to think how youre thinking if you dont think theyre guaranteed to flip scum

but that is just faked. it is clearly very untrue that you are confident they'll flip scum (for example "it's not like I have rock-solid evidence")

there were lots of parts of your datisi push, particularly early on, that I strongly disagreed with and I think that just makes u more likely wolf, but I guess this isnt fair unless I go in depth at some point for specific things

I just think datisi has played a villagery game. doesnt seem survivalisic, no clear agenda, has had nice villagery thoughts. I agreed a lot with those thoughts and agreeing with those general views on the game d1-2 ish was how I found fire villa too (assuming fire is indeed villa, lol)
