Eye gouge: Don
for realz. Not reading the rules is anti-town. (I wonder if the vote method will ever get old in this game? Nah.)

@Fabian--he thought people were voting don for him "putting his vote at the end of the post", which wasn't the case. It showed that he was unaware of the no quote rule.

In all seriousness, we need to get this game rolling as soon as possible because of the short deadline. Wagon on Don is a good idea. Kise would and Locke Lamora would also be good choices for attempting to extend the RVS with multiple random votes.

Also, because we can't quote I think it would be a good idea to include post numbers when discussing another persons statements.

I think it's quite interesting that massive is flipping out over people voting others in the RVS for rules infractions. You have done zero scumhunting this game. So, why are you criticizing others for trying to move the game along?

What the hell is a hyper-drill?

Archon, care to explain why you want massive to claim when he isn't close to a lynch? What benefit would it be to the town?

Massive, I've been attempting to move this game out of the RVS and have placed two semi-serious votes now (eyeing a third on Archon)...what's your beef with that BROTHER?

God I hate not being able to quote. Archon, explain the difference between your statements in post 55. Also, answer the question of what benefit the town would receive from a massive claim at this point.

Massive, lrn 2 read. Proactively asking questions and trying to move the game along with accusations is scumhunting.

Because I like to watch you squirm.

I'm definitely not distancing myself from an Archon lynch. Let the record show that I support it fully at this point. However, putting a player at L-1 before he answers pertinent questions days before deadline is a bad idea.

You complete overreaction to having my vote while trying to direct attention to Archon (a case I started) is hilariously scummy.

Our scumhunting styles may be different, but my question is this: when are we going to see yours?

Apparently DJ has gotten so far into his dullard wrestler character that he is now acting it out in grammar fails. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Ok, did a reread (which is pure lulz) and it seems DJ has some sort of post restriction. Let us try an experiement.

Ftr, I wasn't softclaiming. It was just the only wresting terminology I could think of. Don may be, I don't know.

Kise's setup speculation is unnecessary, as we aren't guaranteed that all those classes of characters are even in this game. We'll probably have a better idea after tonight.

lol@DDD speculating about Jesters. What goes around comes around.

In other news, LL is confirmed scum. Notice how once I called him on being lurker scum he pops in with a lame excuse about time zone differences. What the hell does that have to do with anything? He is today's target for sure if Archon's meta checks out.

Alright, LL, I can see where you are coming from if that is the case because double posting is limited. I hadn't thought about it that way. I need to review your posts and see if this actually is the case.

@Kreriov-You are correct about Archon. It slipped my mind as I got distracted by DJ, but it definitely is suspicious.
ARCHON CLAIM IN YOUR NEXT POST.

re: DJ's hypo-softclaiming. I think we should probably stop talking about it now. It's not helping the town.

DJ, if you don't have a post restriction say, "I'm a little teapot short and stout", only in your next post without voting anybody.

Ok, post restriction essentially confirmed. I haven't quite figured out the details, as there are some anomolous posts by DJ. The question now is judging his alignment.

Regardless, Archon claim and then decisions need to be made about today's lynch ASAP.

I think people need to start putting a little more effort into this game as well. I've seen a lot of sheeping along so far.

Still have yet to see actual scum hunting from massive.

Part of me actually believes Archon's claim, though I don't know if it would be a good idea to make anyone else claim today. Would like opinions from anyone else on this, as our deadline is rapidly approaching.

I don't appreciate Fabian continuing the role specualtion after I said it wasn't helping the town.

Locke Lamora needs to be checked out post haste when I get home from work to view his posting habits in correlation to his timezone.

I don't think considering Jesters is hurting town, but there are more important things to discuss in the immediate future, DDD. Please give us your thoughts on today's lynch.

I believe it as well. I can think of two possible reasons why Kreriov might be having questions about it.

Gah, I hate to slap together a quick lynch on somebody, but we need to come to a concensus really quickly.

Everyone needs to post whether or not they think Archon should be lynched today following his claim if they haven't done so. If you don't think he should be lynched, who is your second choice.

Baltar says: I think Archon needs to be put aside for now and massive should be lynched today.

Massive said: "As for Archon's roleclaim: My initial reaction was it was legit, but remembered the sample PM announcing the possibility of fake claims. I don't think Ricky Steamboat is a jobber. So I don't really believe Archon's roleclaim. Fabian's reason for believing it is probably similar to my initial reason for believing it, but I'm thinking that the mod would take that into consideration. Metagaming the mod, to be sure, but it happens all the time. "

So you are saying it is a possible fakeclaim given by the mod, but doesn't fit with the name that the mod gave? This is ridiculous.

As far as why I asked Fabian, I don't think my reasons are relevant at this time.

Alright, after much deliberation, I think it might be a good idea to just lynch Archon today. Part of me does believe his claim, but he did act scummy and I don't think trying to ram a lynch through on somebody else at the last minute is going to be helpful to the town in the end.

Furthermore, I think massclaim, when it comes later in this game, is going to be extremely helpful to the town and potentially outting PRs right now is a bad idea.

Kise, how the hell does Spyrex strike you as odd? He hasn't hardly posted in this game because he has been travelling.

Anyhow, on with the beatings.

I don't think we need to prove it immediately. Perhaps the DJ situation will resolve itself overnight. He has numerous inconsistencies in his posts...so it is likely untrue that he has a PR.

I wouldn't be opposed to lynching him tomorrow if necessary.

who said I was "confirmed babyface"?

It is interesting that you played along with the PR thing and now that people decided they aren't buying it, you suddenly have plenty to say.

Also, there are no text walls in this game, so no one is discounting your suspicions because you didn't post one. No one has. You haven't said anything and simply OMGUSing tons of people isn't scum hunting. It's being useless.

@don-You should answer players' question DJ because it's pro-town to do so? regarding your voting: you very well may have had some serious votes in there, but when they are buried in a mountain of OMGUS votes, how is anyone else supposed to tell? You haven't really laid down any suspicions "solid", other than you seem to take some issue with me questioning you. It's quite telling to watch you squirm so much suddenly.

Right now, I don't think we have time to have someone else claim and weigh the merits of that claim. I suggest we just follow through the the Archon lynch right now and garner what info we can from it tomorrow.

NOT ELIMINATING SOMEONE TODAY IS NOT AN OPTION.

Happy scumday, massive!

I'm not seeing any substantial reason for a hambargarz lynch today.

Lock Lamora lynch would likely have to happen without a claim because I'm sure he wouldn't be checking in before today's deadline.

Archon lynch is what it is.

I'd prefer the Archon lynch right now just because I think it is the proper play for town, but I would back a deadline lynch of LL over a no lynch because he has indeed acted scummy and hasn't really been scumhunting at all this game.

So, my vote remains for now, but I will be checking in regularly throughout the day to see if I need to switch it to LL.

As great as the flavor is in this game, I recommend stating in clear language what the deadline is so there is no dispute.

Good idea, pencil neck. Now get out of my office.

We really need to agree on a lynch and soon. Waiting until an hour or two before deadline and counting on someone to hammer is a horrible idea. If the people on LL are absolutely not going to change to Archon, then speak up because I will switch.

Anyone not voting for one of this two is not helping town, as these seem to be the only viable lynches at this time.

I agree with DJ that Kreriov's statements are suspect.

That Kreriov lynch was horrendous. I can't believe people let Locke live that long. Booooo.

And boo to Sotty for killing me N1. I was having fun.

Great flavor porkens and it really showed that posting restrictions can work and actually benefit a game. The game turned out really swingy there, but I guess there isn't much you could have done to counteract that.

How did you have us pegged as tag team partners? I guess I wasn't subtle enough with my breadcrumbing on day 1.

I was actually in the same boat as you guys in worrying about Ham being scum. I went into a our quick topic N1 pretty skeptical and trying to get him to spill his guts about his role. That's why I never gave him the post where I breadcrumbed he was my partner. In hindsight, I guess I should have.

I was trying to buddy him as well in case he was scum, so his team wouldn't kill me over night. Had I survived N1 I might have outted him as my tag partner and strung him up D2 on that suspicion alone.

@Sotty-yeah, heh. I don't know if Ham caught on or not that I was considering him to possibly be scum. He seemed pretty trusting that I was town.

Don brings up a good point I forgot to mention. I was only skimming along, but I was completely in the dark that there were two heel factions. There probably should have been some kind of differentiation in the flips so the town would have at least had a clue of what was going on as the game progressed.

Neither pair of tag team partners were confirmed, if that is what you are getting at Krer.

As I said before, i think the post restriction was great. Perhaps allowing quoting, but adding those words into the total word count for the post would be good...especially if you go with a similar idea in a large game. In a long game it would no doubt be challenging to follow someone's train of thought without quoting.
