(1) My first post was for fun. That's obv.
(2) You took it seriously with regards to one player whose alias called for a special joke.
(3) Then you started to stir smelly stuff like
policy lynches
,
meanness
, and
bad play styles

(4) That means you're not scum with LynchMePLZ, but you seized an opportunity to get a safe non-buddy wagon going on what you hoped might be a vulnerable player.

RichardGHP = definite scum for downplaying the Drippereth hydra's legendary, awesome scumhunting (we get ourselves NK'd pretty early). You are safe to assume that we are comprised of Ellibereth & DrippingGoofball mind meld. So really. The scum doesn't have a prayer.

In other news, RichardGHP is also scum for suggesting we be a "policy lynch" especially in light of the above. We're more the scum's "policy NK."

Deer continues to be scum.

FALSE
Assuming a doctor is in the settup, I will be amaza-suprised if the double-voter isn't protected. So raising up whoever you think is the most pro-town is still the way imo.
Enough the whole raising thing though, people who are just talking about it and just ignoring the two scums that have already been flushed out are scummy.

DGB here, yes, I think that's a psychological tell. To chide us to not use our individual accounts is a completely obvious comment that serves as a kind of false "authoritative filler" if you will. Especially in light of the fact that we have not posted in our individual accounts.

It's a textbook case of active lurking, but the contents are exceptionally scummy. I can hear the wheels turning in vezoscum's head: "hey, here's something I can fill a post with, that no one with object to, that is perfectly nentral, and puts me in a dominating position, SCORE!!!!"

Irrelavent to the game. I know DrippingGoofball plays a lot more randomly then this, but if you're going to contribute to the game, PLEASE use evidence from this game. This isn't contributing.
Strange thing to say, given that every one of RichardGHP's is hugely scummy.

Not many people would argue that I play randomly.

Nope. We lead a disproportionate number of lynches on SCUMS, not townies. That's why we get ourselves NK'd early. Townies need not fear us, we only produce minimal friendly fire. Not to mention how liberal we are with our townie calls.

Your premise is completely wrong, but everything you post makes sense as scum. I'm seeing IIoA, AtE, misreps, and no scumhunting. In deciding whether you are that insincere a townie, or scum, I consider that your behavior is too extreme for town, and that you are scum.

Richard wrote:DGB/Elli, I have only played one game with you guys and it wasn't pleasant at all. In fact, the sheer aggression and condescension DGB so blatantly displayed caused me to replace out of the role that I had only replaced in to a couple of RL days beforehand.
Orly?
1: I (Elli) REPLACED YOU in said game. You have played a game with my alt which we may be getting to later.
2: Game where DGB TERRORIZED RICHARD: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... highlight=
I recommend people just iso him fast, especially from ISO 4 onwards.
For you really lazy people, just look from here and the next few posts: http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 24#2053224.
FOr the even lazier...basically Richard says he's lurking strategically and it's playstyle. People want him lynched and he replaces out. DGB was hardly the only one pushing his lynch. For Richard to want to policy lynch DGB just for what happened there is totally ridiculous.
RICHARD, QUOTE OVER SOMETHING FROM THAT GAME THAT MAKES SO DGB POLICYLYNCHABLE PLEASE!!!
Richard wrote: As for the link Drippereth provided, that post was about policy lynches on people who play badly overall, like me, instead of those who play overly aggressive, lead mislynches on townies and are just extremely annoying to have to put up with, like DGB.
Hmf. Let's see your reasons policy lynching is BAD.
Richard wrote:Lynchee could be an important Power Role
Lynchee won't learn how to improve their play if they get lynched Day 1 of every game
Chances are the Lynchee is town
Policy Lynching is condescending, unfair and non-sensical

Sometimes we make it past day 2 if there is no outed cop or similarly important power role drawing protectio - otherwise the scum may assume that we are protected, since we tend to be a priority NK target.

Starting to look more like VI to me as well.
You have to explain this in detail. Tell me how you are distinguishing scum from extreme VI. Explain why he doesn't need to claim at this juncture. I want to know who is more scummy, and who you'll be voting for next.

@Magna - I refer to both my personal history (DGB) and that of the Hydra. It may refer to Elli too, individually, I would need to check with him.

Top suspects are in my post #318. Kleedrac/DoubtIt top the list, and I am up to mow down any of the lurkerscumz - though as a general strategy for scum hunting they are best left to the vig, as their lynches are no super-informative. If no lurker is NK'd tonight, we may have to utility-lynch them.

3. unvote vote: SSBF Still up for a Migwelloni lynch, but SSBF saying I shouldn't have taken my vote away seems really wrong.
1. If RichardGHP were to flip scum, that would establish a connection between you and RichardGHP because you unvoted him just so he could claim.
Townies do that ALL THE TIME. I've done it as town. Probably more as town than scum. WIFOM and all, this is not a scumtell. The both of you are probably town. Please try to harass the scum instead of each other.

Well it was this post
Exactly. Kleedrac is a horrible, horrible lurker and needs to die for the lurking alone. However, to pop up his head late in the wagon and declare a pretty strong town read on Richard, when he hasn't taken a stand on anything, smells like a scum that wants to evade detection, AND wash his hands of a townie lynch. He's not looking for scum at all, but he's showing up to announce his staying off the wagon. That's easy and safe when you know you the townies are.

My point is that DripHydra can still continue to probe at players with a single vote while highlighting their top suspect as above. If the style is effective with one vote (which the concensus is that it tends to be so) then adding a second vote doesn’t necessarily increase the effectiveness in my mind. A declarative player who builds cases can thus build two strong cases and utilize their vote to back them, or to build a single strong case and support it twice.?

Why on Earth does this apply to Drippereth, but not other players? It's only a generality. You're moving down on the town/scum list.

Good solid work, SuperSmash.

I will add that Benmage's in-game persona is not, erm, likable. When attempting to evaluate his alignment, it's important to sort out whether you have a visceral reaction, or whether he's actually scummy. I have played with him before, and as of now, Benmage is par for the course. The brain module that stops him from making scummy post is not functional, possibly much like RichardGHP's ;-)

Is that not a town read? "Not lynchworthy?"

I did post the reasoning. I repeat, in GREEN:

In other words, if Richard is town, you KNOW he's town, because you're scum.
If he's scum... well no scum would defend his scumpal in such a way, that would make you town.

I will ignore the accusations of being a plate of spaghetti.

What you fail to realize is that there is a lot of thought going into the flippant comments; we play a lot of games; the certainties are shorthand and qualifiers are assumed, so they don't need spelling out.

Your rant is, in fact, quite scummy. It's an underhanded criticism of us, without the balls of naming us, and just a big ole IIoA.

Hun,

Percy is playing a very townie game thus far. Thing is, I expect no less of him - regardless of his alignment. Kinda like Zorblag. He won't screw around with the town like normal scumbags. If he survives several nights in a row, especially if there is another player drawing doc protection, he's probably scum. That would be the only scumtell I'd expect of Percy. Continuing to be alive past such time as the scum should have taken care of him.

And scum would have bussed Richardscum, so that wagon thing would have worked regardless of Richard alignment.
But that doesn't matter.
Because Richard is town.

Naw, I remember some distinctly pro-town stuff from him earlier stuck in those walls but I'M NOT LOOKING AT ANOTHER WALL TODAY. So I'm not looking.
You've seen SSBF scum? I've been trying not very hard to look, link pwease.

I don't remember having a CMAR lurking-scummeta. He was uberactive in the game with him where he was scum, (Mafia in Mendo, in New York).
That's also the same game where the whole contract thing from waaaaaaaay earlier was probably shown to him.
Yeah.
What happened in that traffic game?

Hey, guys! We have about thirty-six hours before the deadline, and Budja is now a lynch option again. Who's willing to change back to the player they actually suspected?
GOODPOSTING.
I DID MENTION HOW TOWN MINA IS RIGHT?
How hard the Klee/Budja wagon has been to build is disturbing.

The Raivann vig claim and Richard vig enabler vigclaim settup redundancy argument I dunno. Doesn't convince me about anything.

This is idiotic.

RichardGHP shouldn't be lynched just because apparently Ser Loras can vig someone on his behalf. He should live so the scum have to waste a nightkill on him.

First of all, neither of us logged in and checked PMs or anything, thinking the other had done it.

I think SSBF is town (gut), though the case is convincing (head). We had vezo pegged as town yesterday, so until I'm fully caught up I cannot independently agree or disagree with the case. I like to make my own mind.

I need to look at the late wagoners for Raivann. Scumz that resisted bus'ing might have had to do it when it started to look hopeless.

I do like IDI's case on danakilsu, since it fits my theory.

I felt that Deer was town. Then, that Kleedrac was scum. I thought that the scum was trying to distract from the Kleedrac wagon with a Raivann wagon, because Raivann didn't really stand out to me.

I (DGB) am now dead in a few games, so I'll be able to spend more time in this one.

Mina wrote: Richard is confirmed town, I was the first person on Raivann's wagon, and Percy was the third (I suppose Percy's jump onto CMAR and back to Raivann could be a case of distancing from a buddy, briefly supporting an alternate lynch when it seemed viable, before deciding once and for all to cut ties--I'll reread the evolution of his opinions in context--but that would be kind of convoluted). You're better off making a case that we're on the other scumteam.
Doesn't have to do with order on wagon, usually when scum mentions names like that there's one buddy in them.

I re-read the post-claim stuff from yesterday.

Reactions to the vig claim:

RichardGHP: "BTW, someone should unvote just to be safe, but a clear wagon should remain evident. Raivann shouldn't be off the hook because of a vig claim." Singularly cautious, if he's a townie.
I doubt it: buys the claim. Townie.
RichardGHP: "Needless to say - you are not the lynch for today, but you definitely are not clear."
vezok: "Obv fakeclaim. You were voting to raise CMAR. I don't want to lynch a vig now. If CMAR flips scum raviann should be obv scum. Someone asked who I believe scum. I believe both of them are scum. UNVOTE: VOTE: CMAR"
Mina believes it. Townie.

Doubting a vig claim is really weird. Except from Richard.

So vezok looks really scummy for disbelieving a claim few of us had reason to doubt, and was easily provable. I had a town read on vezok yesterday, though. Maybe I was wrong.

unvote, Vote: Danakillsu
This looks bad for danakilsu, actually. Looks like 3-way bus'ing.

Who's this Thor person, I didn't know he existed, how did Raivann notice him unless they're buddies?

even if he had not been NK'd. What I was saying was just that we could lynch him tomorrow.
I agree with this, and for this reason, I find that the players screaming "fakeclaim" were the scummiest of the lot.

But then, Raivann voted you for having a reasonable position, so the forecast is sunny with a chance of bus'ing.

You're right, he replaced Paranoia. So why did Raivann want to cast aspersions on an insignificant player that no one noticed? For town cred, because that player is prob scum.

LynchMePls is town. Read his posts. Shining beacon of townie-ness, every single one of them.

Thor is VLA July 1-7. I do like this posts, the early ones. Then after his iso post #8, he gets lazy, and starts coasting. Mmmmm.

I'll look again, but its going to be easy for scum to look town when they have the luxury of actually scum hunting.
No really, his post literally glow with green.

Wanna look at Thor, see if you see anything different?

xvart wrote:Then why aren't Cow, Richard, Miku, and vezo green as well since you claim them town in your wagon analysis post? Furthermore, how can you claim Vezo is town and then claim Vezo is scummier than SSBF? For the record, I could see Richard being green due to his claim and the flip of Loras; so you think unconfirmed LMP is more town than nearly confirmed Richard?

Your wagon analysis seems pretty subjective and manipulated.

FoS: Drippereth

xvart.
LynchMePls is more town than all the players I've ever declared to be townies. And that's never going to change. So he gets the green.

As for vezo, I thought it was clear. Both Elli and I (DGB) had a town read om him/her yesterday. I believe this town read carried over with Elli today. But now that I (DGB) am re-reading, and looking at the data, I'm not finding vezo quite so townie anymore.

I should have put Richard as green - I thought I did. This was an oversight.

Not sure about Miku and hascow. These are gut reads, they don't get green.

I missed that bit about vezo. If true, no way vezo is scum, then.

[quote="diddin"]So, I just did a major read and still need a little bit of time for it all to gather in my head, but for now, I have scum reads on both Dana and SSBF, moreso on Smash./quote]

What a coincidence!!! Both are under extreme suspicion.

We should lynch dindi.

Oh, yeah, but THIS. This is why I had a scum read on vezo. I can't convince Elli... but I think that's scum knowing the claim is fake.

Yeah. There were several things that bugged me. But then he's posting an avalanche of content... that seems town... and I'm thinking... would scum be SOOOOOOOO invested in figuring things out? Only if there are two scum teams, and he's looking for competition... otherwise he'd be town... I'm uneasy. Anyhoo, if he's town, he'll be dead soon enough.
