He is trying to instill paranoia to dissuade the town from using it. The scum knew they didn't have the vig, and the later it was used the more chance they had of night killing the vig.

In his #346 (page 14), he wants masons to claim already, and seems to be setting himself up for an "I told you so" in case of a DK vig (knows DK will flip town?). chkflip points this out too in #567 (page 23). chkflip also agrees with confirmed town pop's plan in #919. I'm still suspecting chkflip, but cjdrum more so.

Just read his ISO, I'm more convinced it's cjdrum now than chkflip.

Please remember that scum knows that Toro, their buddy, is the main target of the gun. Of course, they will try to stop the action.
