Personally, I don't see what's so awful about following Icey for the first day. If they have a helpful ability, then it's worth it. If this is some kind of scum ploy then the first day is the time to expose it. There is no way that a moderator puts this much effort into a game and then gives someone an ability that could end the game on day one. That kind of paranoia isn't going to get us anywhere. It's valid not to trust Icey but inflating it into an issue of epic proportions is not helpful to town, if you really are town.

If it's because Soben isn't sure if Icey is town, there's still little reason not to because Soben has a townread on Icey, meaning it's more likely that there will be positive effects from voting Icey than negitave effects.

You really want to continue pushing this? I see the possibly of roles such as a cult-recruiter who is only allowed to recuit if he obtains x number of votes a day in the game thus there are indeed risks to voting him while no risks in not doing so.

One of my first games here, Magua pulled the 'well you might as well kill me' gambit as scum, but he was up shit creek, without a paddle, and it was very lackadasical. Pine I think actually feels that we're going to have some respect for his reads after he's dead (joke's on him - I've had people ignore my reads after I've been NIGHT KILLED, nevermind lynched). So despite the fact that I fucking hate everything he's written since he decided to stop scumhunting and start Third Party hunting and playing the persecuted martyr, I'm going to say that I don't have strong confidence in this lynch. Bad posts and scum posts are not the same thing at all.

I'm going to assume you've played with RBT before. If you have, her MO is simple: She's abrasive as shit and lurks like hell. I'll grab a few games if you want. I'll ALWAYS lynch the person with shitty content over the person producing lots of content day 1 if it's at all close in scumminess. I WILL have a good idea of the content-filled poster's alignment on day 2 or 3. I will NOT have any idea of the active lurker's alignment, and RBT is scummy besides.

#6, 12, 15 are town. 12 in particular where he lays out how beefster is scummy, but doesn't seem to have scum motivation, and therefore reads town is a VERY town chain of logic. Scum have no motivation to do that, especially if this is a multiscum game. It's also the same read I have on beefster, which makes me happy.

Whereas RBT is just screamingly dull and scummy to boot.

Vig targets I like so far:
Katy - 12 post ISO does not inspire confidence.
Bunnylover - meh, probably best of the lurkers
SnakePlissken - 13 post ISO is unacceptably short. Lots of fluff posts in those 13, which is hideous.

Other instructions:

Protective abilities ]should STRONGLY CONSIDER protecting one of the two claimed masons. As confirmed town, they have bullseyes painted on them, and scum are going to shoot eventually. WIFOM means you don't have to especially if the abilities function anything like "Prevent X damage" but it's a good idea to consider it. Living masons = good things.

Other than that, obviously do as you will.

PS: IPod Mafia was a Fate-scum show. Days took less than 48 hours. Keep this in mind.

Masons aren't quite DEF CONFIRMED TOWN due to multiteam possibilities, but they're pretty damn close since no town would ever do that. Our protections and healing need to be all over AGOG and Mana.

I wasn't that active yesterday for several reasons, including that a lot was going on in another game I'm involved in and that work all of the sudden got sucky and I've been unexpectedly stressed, making it hard for me to come in and focus really hard on playing.

If it helps, I can tell you that I checked out the masons and I don't believe there is any gambit going on there. As to anything else I have to say, I want to check something with the mod first.

Inclined to believe Bunnylover's claim, because of how our role functions (since we've explored the limits of claiming, I feel safe in saying we earn MP with votes and can do certain things with that - and also a few of the things we can do are 1 shot AND ALSO require these...). Psychopathic roles exist.

According to my abilities, it mass roleblocks all actions. However, it's a mind effecting ability (like everything I do). I'm not sure if certain players are immune to those.
