The Streets Of El Pallante

The town of El Pallante is being terrorized. A mafia family named the Pastrelli's wants to taken over the city! The last couple of days people have been found murdered in their home. The citizens of El Pallante are afraid they're going to be next. And what will happen with their little town when everyone is dead? The Pastrelli will certainly make this town their headquarters and will begin to terrorize other cities! The townmembers decide that they can't let that happen, and take matters into their own hands.

Starting tomorrow every day one citizen will be lynched by democratic voting untill all the mafiosi are dead or until only mafiosi remain.

It's all or nothing.

Fuldu

was proud of his job. As a kid he always wanted to be a police-officer. But after he was rejected at the academy, he didn't give up: he volunteered for the

Neighbourhood Watch

. That was almost being a police-officer and maybe, if he did his job right, they would taken him at the academy. He thoguht about all this as he reached the Harbor, where he decided to patrol that night. He looked carefully for suspicious persons and hoped he could remember them the next morning. Unfortunately he didn't notice the suspicous person behind him. Fuldu felt a sharp stab in his back and then fell to the ground. The dark shadow flew quickly from the scene.

Fuldu (Neighbour Watch)

is dead. He could go to one of the three districts and watch for suspicious people. He could only remember one of the persons he saw there.

It is now Day. With 11 alive, it's 6 to lynch.

In the opening post, Kerplunk only mentions a mafia family. So whether there are multiple groups (mafia and sk), I am not sure. The stabbing looks like an sk, but mafia may be give that as a kill option.

It seems to spark discussion well enough in most games, so i always try and do it.

Okay then. In many games, Fuldu has been killed night 1 (Asterix, mini 127). Those are only two examples. I don't really know of anyone who would have a grudge against him personally. He is a good player, so that may be why he was killed night 1.

I thought it looked pretty obvious considering that it states that Fuldu was stabbed, and in almost every mafia game I've played where there'd be a stabbing it most likely was done by a sk or vig. So I don't think that bk would need to be the sk in order to figure that one out.

It's because you have no imagination, and are assuming that this game must mirror every other game that you've ever been in.

There's nothing stating Mafia can't stab. There's nothing stating that we have an SK. In fact, the opening text clearly says "every day one citizen by democratic voting untill all the mafiosi are dead or until only mafiosi remain." So initial reaction by anyone reading the opening post would be that our only night kill would have to be Mafia, as there's no room in the victory conditions for a serial killer. And yet clearly BK has decided that this stabbing death is more likely a serial killer. And I contend that he knows more than we do -- either because he is the serial killer, or because he's Mafia and made the kill and hopes we'll waste time looking for a non-existent SK.

But hey, it's all just my opinion, and in any case I feel at least like I'm doing my job and hunting scum.

It has nothing to do with imagination, it has to do with day 1 assumption. Wouldn't you look dandy if it shows up tomorrow with two kills, a shooting and and a stabbing? Or in fact that a sk is lynched today. All I was saying is why BK most likely assumed the killing to be done by the sk. Pretty much putting words into his mouth, but that most likely would have been his answer. I'm not saying as to who I think it is, all I can deal with now are the facts that I have, and honestly the stabbing thingy is the last thing I'm trying to concentrate on right now.
