Placing vote here because while noone has actually caught my eye for being scummy Thingyman is developing a tendancy to draw away from what is happening in thread. I know he's new but someone that has played quite a bit of Mafia should know to keep things on track unless you want to confuse the town, which has happened.

Most people's votes are null and void thanks to them all being based on misundersdtandings about claiming. Yes we should mass claim because nothing inherently bad will come of it because the game is nightless so can we just get over that and on with the game?

Now Baby, in my skim read for Kise while looking for where my vote would go (I'm leaving Emp and Thingy alone for now because emp is making an effort and despite not agreeing with him he does have some points valid to his thinking as shown in thread.) I came across #162.

You obviously had time to make a post so you made a half assed attempt at passing off resonding to a random person's points in a discussion which doesn't concern you. Fine it's Mafia but a) couldn't be less confrontation, fencesitting and trying to make everyone happy and b) has no grounds other than an opinion which hasn't taken into account that people have brain lapses when reading something that is suggesting against the facts. Such as what is the case with the whole nightkill shizz. Passing the post off with a smilie may be fine but so far as I can see with the exception of in the short rvs noone has thought it apt to make a joke in the same post as something trying to pass itself off as serious.

Mountain out of an ant hill yes but adding to the fact that your partner is obviously active lurking through the early stages of the game and you have something that looks pretty bad.

@ reck from a couple of pages back. I know the case is a stretch but Active Lurking is alo scummier than plain lurking. werewolf is also guilty of this but kcd is THE active lurker in this game. I'm not going to stick my head in the whole reck-kise-silavor thing other than to say that I most agree with recks posting (maybe not the tone) but I'm not 100% sold on either of them being scum. Kise could easily be mistaken and silavor seems to just be out of his depth.

Other than that my vote stays until I get reason to believe that kcd is actually being stupid and not deliberately active lurking.

Oh shutup. Kise is town regardless of wether she had a convo with anyone about this game. For someone to beat a wagon that hard they had to be extremely sure. 1 for 1 is not in scums interests. The only way kise is scum is if the two of you are scum buddies and this is crafted. I'm not seeing that anymore so therefore kise is town. That doesn't mean reck is scum however.

Happens to me all the time and a similar thing happened to PO earlier in this game with the whole NK thing. Why wouldn't I avoid the matter for the most part. I posted a neat opinion so everyone knows where I stood on the 'debate'. I didn't completely avoid, I just said what I felt I needed to to get my opinion accross and nothing more. Butting into debates like that just gets town sidetracked by adding more unneeded variable. I should be posting more important things like who I think is scum, which I did.

I've said I find him scummy. Why make the case when I'm already on a wagon that I am sure is scum. Derailing good wagons is in itself scummy. If I decided to post an umbridge case right now that would be like me saying, "Oh, wait. I have scum here ready to be lynched but nah I'll go make a case on someone else and let that scum that I helped catch live." It just makes no sense. That is why I want those lists. So we can see who thinks who is scummy without them having to back it up witch strong cases. It's not like scum can kill me before I show why they are scum. Grey. That's a rather immature way of looking at it. AtE's are not a scumtell. Sure AtEs come accross as scummy but it all depends on the tone. I've seen them come from both sides and when you have played as many Newbie games as an SE as me (Because then it is less of a teaching role.) you get to pick up the differences between scum and town AtEs. I'll have to have a look back but I'm really getting any points either way from umbridges which doesn't pull him out of a scum read at all though.

Gonna have to do the first one first. I have to go pretty far back in mine and PO's qt for the second.

Basically it comes down to that for a pair that said next to nothing through day 1 while a town pair came under great scutiny coupled with an extreme change of tone come the new day when there is no sure lynch points to me like a scum couple that are trying to completely stay under the radar when they can and only popping in when they need to. if you want an example, take a look at mari's reactions just after the vote on her. Thick with omgus. It's like her play falls apart when there isn't a sure town lynch.

This is exactly why we should be lynching either kcd or Mary because discussing multiple targets at this stage with little evidence is the right way to waste time and make the game boring. BS is going in the right direction with the votecount analysis but that needs more info. I'd rather keep kcd around because 1. I don't think he is scum. (PO is starting to doubt me on my town read but eh), 2. BS is actually trying to do stuff, 3. Mary is proving not very useful. Kise's partner is mia so that adds kise to the list. I know you think kise is town but just saying.

I do believe the town pool should be extended to have Grey/Anti and Emp/Thingy(replacement) as a subset in the probably town pool. That leaves Llama/Ash and Kise/PP as the next lynches. If somehow they are both town then we can move to the other two.

I'm just prioritising lynches here seeing as we're discussing this.

Tragedy has recently started saying things I wold never see come from someone partnered with kise. In addition she is acting less scummy. Kise flips town then you guys are probably town.

I only think ash is scum because you think they are scum. The way you hit then they are either your buddies or they are scum anyway if you are town because it was a good case. PO presented my case on you. I've thought you were scum but couldn't work out why. I basically said this much in the QT and just said that you've done nothing to get you town points the whole game. PO took it furthur.

Ok thought just occured to me. Why wouldn't you hammer me even if you thought I was town. There is always a chance you are wrong, also I'm sure many people would agree we are a decent mislynch at this stage. There are much worse town lynches that could happen. It would also potentially break the game open. Sure once we flip town you will be the next lynch but after that town still has the upper hand. Were I in your shoes I would take the gamble.

Let's look at a different scenario assuming you are scum. You guys are definantly going to be lynched once we flip. You know we are town as well. You really don't want us to be lynched because your only chance of survival is to stop us being confirmed town and should we get lynched then tada, we're town you're scum. Instead you want ash lynched as he is your scum partner. That way you get enough town cred to maybe see the game through to the end. Or ash is town you've wasted one of the town's lynches and they only have two more safe mislynches. You take us out then you guys go down. Assuming your partners are well hidden there is all likelyhood that they will win from there.
