Starbuck calls it how she sees it.Amrun wrote:If ender flips scum, then Starbuck is definitely on my radar. Stupid no posters, though.
While I can see how some people would see what he said as a slip, too many people voted in the span of time that it took for him to reply and explain. Someone's out looking for an easy lynch and it's those people on ender's wagon.
About his claim, please remember that this game is based on the SHOW and not the COMIC as there are some differences. Andrea IS a main character in the show .
Saying this and then voting ender for no reason is scummy as hell.Wraith wrote:Yeah, I don't get the case against me.

Regardless of such, your posts must be sucking air because despite you posting 14 times, you didnt say anything memorable. You might as well be lurking.
Also, I must have said something memorable if people are thinking I'm scummy because I disagree with their view on ender.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

I shouldn't have said defense. I'm sorry, I've had a rough day. Finding out that the military is forcing me out and not letting me reenlist is kind of a tough thing to deal with.Amrun wrote:Oops. Caught with your hand in the cookie jar, Starbuck.
But The Rufflig is definitely wrong when he says that he was the first person to stand up for ender and seems to dismiss anything I said about ender due to his feeling that I was neutral. That shouldn't have anything to do with it.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

I also do disagree with the following from Wraith...
If you go back and read my link to the Wiki page about The Walking Dead, then you'd see that Andrea is a main char in the show and Amy is not listed as main character.Wraith wrote:I'm Amy, currently VT. Unlike ender, I actually know who I am. I am Andrea's sister, and I die at the end of Episode 3. Andrea goes shell-shock then kills me just as I turn during Episode 4. So yeah, that's why I doubted ender's claim, because TBH I doubt that the mod would put both siblings in the game. That's just my opinion though, not related to mod meta or anything real.
As this game is based on the show more than the comics, I will go with the information I know from there.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

I find bv scummy due to meta. He is normally quiet and non-contributing when he is scum. As such, I don't believe he's added anything to conversation yet.Amrun wrote:Starbuck, where and why did you find bv scummy?
And the chesskid thing was obviously a joke... Kind of misrep there.
Not a misrep at all, I didn't take chesskid's reply of "I refuse" as a joke.
You asked in 308 for thoughts on bv, and he countered with wanting to know why you would want his thoughts before night fell. Fate chipped in with asking why he wouldn't answer the question and asked him to stop being difficult, and then chess still refused to answer.
How is that a joke?<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

When the hell was this? I'm not exactly a prolific poster.Jack wrote:bv has been one of the biggest contributors when I've played with him.
Anyway, in reading the thread, I am confident in saying that Ender, Wraith, and possibly Amrun are scum. Ender started lurking way too quickly once Wraith started getting a bit of pressure.
Also, @GreyICE, why are you so convinced that there's both a cult and scum? I'd be willing to bet it's something like cult and an SK, if there's multiple factions.
Also also, are you fucking kidding me with that hammer, Ender? Someone needs to vig his ass tonight.bv310 wrote:Rufflig, unless those two are somehow confirmed to you, don't act like they are. They're scummy as hell, and you trying to say they're guaranteed town because of some part of a VT PM matching means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I've been scum in a TM game before, and he gives full PMs as fakeclaims.bv310 wrote:IS, have you ever played with Jack before? This is nothing new for him.bv310 wrote:Amrun, I find you scummy because you're calling the other two conf-Town when all you have to go on is a few matching words that could clearly be out of a fakeclaim PM. To me, this reads that you somehow know that they are Town. The only way you could know this is if you're not Town, i.e. Scum. Guess I could've made that a bit clearer in my other post.bv310 wrote:lolwut? My post calling you as scum was #286, posted today at 5:04pm. You aren't chesskid, and you are blatantly saying that behavior that I think to be scummy is a joke. I think you are trying to protect your buddy and answer for him. Not liking this at all.
I doubt that he didn't know the game started. I was busy on the day that PMs came out and didn't get to reply to the mod and already had a PM sitting in my box from the mod when I got home stating that he didn't think I could keep up with the game. So I HIGHLY doubt that he didn't know the game started.
Now that's 2 people that you are answering for and making excuses for.

Case incoming on Amrun, I'm gonna break it up into a few posts so that it's not one giant wall.
Ender's supposed slip/misunderstanding happened in Post 44
He was immediately voted by Jack in Post 47
Followed by:
chesskid3 in Post 49
RedCoyote in Post 50
GreyICE in Post 51
Amrun in Post 56
Thus putting him at L-2.
After ender explains, Amrun says in Post 62
It's a little odd that she says that him being at L-2 makes her uncomfortable when SHE is the one who put him there. Pressure is one thing, putting him all the way to L-2 is another.Amrun wrote:I just wanted to see him explain, personally.
I'm not satisfied with the explanation because it ISN'T one, but him being at L-2 for something that's probably a mistake is making me uncomfortable.
UNVOTE: ender
Your rapid defense of him was strange, starbuck.
She also states that she feels that I flipped out over ender being voted, which is a DEFINITE misrepresentation of what I said about disagreeing with the votes on him.
Amrun wrote:It read as a defense to me.
Flipping out over someone else's pressure votes is not a townie sign.
Here is what I originally said....
Post 53:
Post 54:Starbuck wrote:
I'm not really seeing a slip here.ender241 wrote:You don't vote NO LYNCH, we learn nothing and the scum get another chance to kill one of us. If we try we might get one here and now so don't do any no lynch nonsense or it looks scummy.
He just seems to agree with the others who have said we won't learn anything from voting no lynch.
Can anyone tell me where I flipped out in those two posts?Starbuck wrote:
It could be a slip, but could also mean the multiple nights that scum usually get to kill people.RedCoyote wrote:What about the part chess pointed out, Starbuck?
How new at mafia is ender?
Amrun's got a slight problem with stretching the truth, which she realizes in Post 69...
So now she redacts accusing me of flipping out, could you be anymore wishy washy?Amrun wrote:Starbuck: You actually didn't flip out, but your reaction was strange. Did you really think everyone wanted to really lynch ender like 40 hours into the game? Wtf? They were obviously pressure votes, so no need to defend unless he's your scumbuddy.
She also votes Fate for his obvious joke about hammering in Post 87...
Asking for advice?Amrun wrote:I believe the claim because of the "for now." Also Andrea isn't a zombie in the show.
VOTE: Fate
Explain yourself. What possible townie motivation is there for wanting to hammer on anyone so early?
Even if you were sure he was scum, a one-day d1 is a bad idea. How can we sniff out his scum partner(s) if we lynched so quickly?
Also, she believes Ender here because of the "for now" and knowing that Andrea isn't a zombie in the show.
Then she swaps right back over to not believing him in Post 111. More wishy-washy goodness...
Amrun wrote:There was a specific reason I believed his claim wasn't a safeclaim, but he just blew that out of the window.
But I'm not hammering. We can still gain info this phase.
So she continues to push his lynch with the weak reasoning of his lack of knowledge of the flavor.Amrun wrote:Ender. No one said that. I said that Andrea wasn't a zombie as a reason why I BELIEVED you.
I know Tony requested flavor knowledge for anyone signing up for this game, and the episodes are READILY available online so that's crap. There are only 6 or something.
At this point, Ender, you're so clueless that this is, indeed, looking like a botched fakeclaim.
Andrea is a character, but there are enough characters that she can be a fakeclaim without much issue.
And then, she even says....
WTF? You just spent the whole last page plotting his demise!!!Amrun wrote:He didn't claim scum, though.
To be continued....<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

Amrun wrote:Votes don't mean something isn't an attack.
No, it didn't immediately make you scum...
I disagreed with the thought process behind the incident you're thinking about. It seemed to make more sense for scum.
However, I didn't really think you might be scum until later in the day.
Your behavior really baffles me, to be honest. Disagreement doesn't need to lead to votes or scumminess, but sometimes it does. Sometimes that's because a difference in philosophy and sometimes it's because one of the pair is scum.
You're not my top scum read, so I don't know why you're getting your feathers so ruffled. I was just making conversation, to begin with, really.
Assuming is bad, mmmkay?Amrun wrote:In other words, I thought maybe you hadn't considered that it might be a joke. You hadn't. I, on the other hand, had not considered the possibility that it wasn't a joke and your post helped me think about it in a new way.
That's a good thing, for town, but scum use it against people. That is the entire basis of the game.
1. My feathers aren't ruffled.
2. You don't get to decide what I did and did not consider. I tried to read that whole line of conversation in the eyes of a joke and seriousness. It didn't read along the lines of a joke for me.
How about you let chesskid explain himself rather than being his white knight?
I didn't see you rush to help ender when ender did something that other people considered scummy.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

You left out one word that could change that, which is the word "might".Amrun wrote:That makes sense. It would be a little strange for zombies to have individual power roles, but who knows? Maybe they need to in order to balance the set up. I have no idea.
However, in Tony's original thing in the ad queue, he said something like "If you don't like cults, don't play this game." Something to think about.
From Post 75 of the Upcoming Games Thread....
The first thing is about cults. Tony says MIGHT. Also that experimental roles may be a possibility.TonyMontana wrote:The Walking Dead
The zombie apocolypse is here. Will you gather against the geeks or will you turn on eachother?
- BaM game - flakers will be modkilled and banned, no exceptions.
- Based mostly on the first season of the tv show.
- There might be cults. Not sure yet, just fair warning if you hate cults.
- There will be zombies. Pretty sure of this one.
- 13 players
- 1 week days
- As per usual, experimental roles are a possibility.
Requirements for pre-in:- One completed game.
- Having seen the show / read the comics. (It's just six episodes, check it out you haven't)
- The above requirement can be waived if you've played in my games before.
PM to pre-in (supply limited, first come, best served)
The second thing I want to point out is the very last point after Requirements for pre-in. Knowledge of flavor was not a requirement had someone played in Tony's games before.
So that riding of ender's ass about not knowing flavor was a little much, dontcha think?
The Rufflig points this out when he finally enters the game, but I did feel that it needed reiteration.
Also the "flip out" (your words not mine) about GreyICE was a little over the top...
GreyICE says in post 135...
Which Amrun replies in 147...GreyICE wrote:Time to try and find #3. I'm leaning Starbuck, but IS and bv310 haven't even posted yet, which is probably the safest for scum at this juncture.
Jack FOS's her for that above statement which she replies with....Amrun wrote:GreyICE, why are you assuming there are 3 scum...?Amrun wrote:Jack, why are you FoSing me for that post? Seriously.
Grey says, "There are three scum" and I want to know why he said it.Amrun wrote:But why would there be an assumption that there are three scum? I have no idea how many scum there are. How does GreyICE know?
Town shouldn't know that.
A little overdefensive much and a little bit of an overreaction.Amrun wrote:Listen, how the hell do you know how many scum there are? My town pm doesn't mention that at ALL and neither does the OP.
That's ridiculous. I'm going to ignore this line of questioning for now as it must be reaction fishing, since it makes absolutely zero sense.
Amrun then goes on a bit about not wanting the day to end so soon and not wanting a hammer in the following posts...
Amrun wrote:unvote
vote: Wraith
I have to admit that was pretty scummy. Ender is lying low, though, now...
Grey, answer my question, please. Why three scum?Amrun wrote:I guess that's a fair point. I didn't realize it had only been four hours. Game happenings made me feel like it was longer or something.
Ugh, now I'm tempted to unvote. I don't like L-1 at this stage of the game, but I feel Wraith is genuinely scummy...
Please, no one hammer yet.
Jack asks in 174 to Amrun...Amrun wrote:Also, I apologize for not knowing the standard ratios. I am trying, but my newbie still shows sometimes.
And I don't like L-1 after like 1 day and 7 pages. I just don't. Even if Wraith and Ender are BOTH scum, there's likely one more to find. Two players haven't even posted yet.
It's just too early, imho.
To which Amrun unvotes.Jack wrote:If you don't want a hammer, why haven't you unvoted?
After Raivann votes Wraith, we do get this from Amrun...
Amrun wrote:Ugh, I just knew it.
Fucking hammer.
I am not pleased by this.
Now Raivann wasn't even the hammer, how hard is it to read half a page?Amrun wrote:Hopefully, he's scum, but either way, we missed out on a lot of reads. Two players haven't even posted...
Here's a great question from our now confirmed Wraith.Wraith wrote:I think the town's attention would be far better served on finding out WHO THE FUCK STARTED THE CULT SPECULATION and WHY THE FUCK WE ARE SPECULATING A CULT IN A MINI.
And the answer to that is AMRUN.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

I spent a lot of time reading over Amrun the other day and I wanted to go back and read over Fate. But posting from my iPhone currently doesn't help me do a thorough read.
And that's you saying I don't give a shit, sir. Not me.
I also stated that I was going to be V/LA for this week due to drills and such at work so that I wouldn't get such crap.
I personally would like to see some opinions from the quiet people. Or prods. Prods would be nice.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

Gonna do a Fate/general re-read again later on at work (if I get a chance). I already did one re-read this week already. I may have to save it until tomorrow night as this day may be chock full of drill goodness again.
RedCoyote understood where I was coming from with that. You just stretched that all out to mean what you want it to mean. The Rufflig wrote:No, no, no, no, NO! In fact, Starbuck mentions that Amrun was answering for two different people. This shows that it was more of Amrun's playing style than scummy behavior, but even putting that aside, it is still wrong. Starbuck was arguing that Amrun was scummy for defending his scum buddy chesskid3. This argument relies on the "fact" that chesskid3 is scummy - which had not been proven. Bad argument! Not good point!
First, where did I mention that Amrun was answering 2 different people? And how does this show it was her playing style?
Just because you don't find someone scummy, doesn't mean that they aren't scummy. Seems to me you are trying to say that unless you deem someone scummy than it isn't proven that they are.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-

If this is about the disagreement/defense issue, that was a different thing. The Rufflig wrote:That's twice now that you haven't remembered what you said in this game. Perhaps because you don't actually believe what you are telling us?
I actually wanted you to show the class what you were talking about with the current situation so I can correct you. It's not that I did not remember what I said.
Way to try and discredit me though. Noted.
My argument is that she was ANSWERING for others. Defense is kinda implied, but it wasn't my point. The Rufflig wrote: A good part of your argument is that Amrun has to be scum because he is defending others.
Answering for people typically looks like you are answering for your scum buddy, which is what I took it as from Amrun.
No shit, Sherlock. The Rufflig wrote:Secondly, Amrun's flip gives no information about the alignment of those he was defending.
Because I had more of a case than just her answering for people and I even said at the beginning of that first post that I would break it up into multiple posts so that it wasn't one long wall. The Rufflig wrote:Your whole argument is a variation of the Chainsaw defense which requires that the person being defended be scum. Quite frankly, if you hadn't made a subsequent post with the other reasons you thought Amrun was scummy and if bv310 hadn't muddied the waters about Amrun, I would have voted for you over this.
Amrun was white knighting two people. It was scummy. Just because Amrun was village, doesn't mean that she wasn't scummy or acting scummy.<3 Kise, Reck, dram, tans, & Kats <3-
