Rules are subject to addition, deletion, or change any time. If you try to abuse some technicality, we will make that technicality cease to exist. There are several common sense rules that are implicitly here that we didn't bother writing. When in doubt, PM us. We're nice guys.

Play to your win condition:

We want you all to have fun, but you must always be trying to secure a win for your faction. Failure to do so might get you banned from all mafia games on-site, not just this one. Getting modkilled will turn you to a dead neutral suvivor, so incurring a modkill is always playing against your factions wincon. Do not test our patience on this issue; we have none.

Setup Facts:

This game features two factions, the forces of

Friendship

and the forces of

Discord.

There are no cults, jesters, bombs, or lynchers. The forces of Discord have access to fakeclaims that include flavor quotes and pictures. You are not allowed to quote your PM, except for your role name and flavor quote.

The flavor is meaningless:

Flavor is for entertainment purposes only. To stress the division between flavor and gameplay, all flavor will be purple and in

tags. You have our guarantee that you can ignore anything we post that is purple in area tags with absolutely no negative repercussions.

Lynching:

It takes a full majority to lynch or to no-lynch. If there is no one with a majority at deadline, it's no-lynch.

First rule about ongoing games:

Don't talk about this game anywhere else, and don't talk about other ongoing games here. ESPECIALLY don't share QT links with anyone.

Mistakes:

Everypony makes them. Call out vote count mistakes with a bolded note in thread. All other mistakes should be pointed out discreetly via PM.

Activity:

We will prod a player after 48 hours of inactivity. Prods can only be 'picked up' by actually posting in thread – a response to me will not cut it. Players will be replaced upon receiving their third prod, or if they take more than 48 hours to respond to a prod. (However, one prod on your record is removed for each full game Day you participate in.) Players are also free to request replacement at any time.

V/LA:

Declaring V/LA (Vacation/Limited Access) freezes your activity clock. It starts ticking on midnight the day AFTER the end date you've given.

Kills:

We will accept kills that are either bolded in the scum QT, or sent via PM. If we receive multiple kill orders, we will use the most recent one. You can only submit a kill order you yourself are carrying out. If we receive no kill orders all night, no kill will happen.

Deadlines:

Deadlines will be two weeks for all Days. We will extend this only in extreme circumstances. Nights will be 72 hours from when the lynch scene is posted.

Votes:

Votes must be bold, and be on the start of a new line. A vote inside a paragraph almost certainly won't count (unless we think you're deliberately abusing this policy – you should never PURPOSEFULLY place your vote in a paragraph). Unvotes are nice but not necessary. Don't play 'vote tricks' – whether you voted for someone or not is ultimately for us to decide, not you.

Mod Vote Counts are Canon:

We will not end the day if the number of votes stated in the last VC + the number of additional votes is not great enough to lynch - we won't penalize the town for a mod error.

To put this otherwise, if we make a mistake in the vote-count, point it out immediately, but UNTIL we fix it, our erroneous vote count is WHERE YOUR VOTE IS. This ensures that someone doesn't get accidentally hammered because of bad mod information.

Our color:

is blue. Don't use it. Also, no invisible/small text, and no quoting the mods PM's.

The ponies had been an indecisive lot, and who could blame them, after all I mean it was their first time doing this lynching thing, the Forces of

So they horsed around for a bit, not realising this was serious business before turning on WeyounsLastPony. He was the one they were sure was trying to disrupt their friendsip so he was going to be the Pony in the noose.

Gammagoeey was walking down the road at a very slow pace, after all he was very fuckin' old and like what do you expect? He's lucky he's able to walk at his age, actually. Anyway, back to this magical story I was telling before I interrupted myself. Where were we?

Oh, yeah Gammagooey. So he went to the market to buy some beer, he was getting ready to party hard tonight. For a woman of his age (don't question the gender switching, plz) he was sure prone to partying. He even made Cider in his spare time back home, what with all the apples. The town had decided that in honour of Snails they would not do a lot this next day. Snails loved slow days so they decided that waiting until 22 hours before deadline was a fitting way to pay tribute to the now deceased Snails. They'd actually built a memorial to him. In the end all that mattered was who was getting noosed though! There wasn't a lot of discussion, actually. They just dragged inHim to the gallows.
