Yeah, panicking indeed.

WTF does my vote on chesskid have to do with you instigating a policy lynch on chesskid. I don't even see where he came within 500 miles of that implication.

Unvote, Vote TheLonging

TheLonging wrote:You completely took that post the wrong way, I'm sorry. My vote WAS (at the time) PL, and he said "why do you see me voting NL as 3rd vote worthy?", which would imply there'd be some sort of wagon forming, which I responded "does that imply that you think hohum was a serious vote on you", because being "3rd vote worthy" is, yes I know this because I have experienced it as a mod and a player, some sort of worry that a wagon is being formed.

This doesn't even come close to making sense. Are you high or something? Let me ask a more direct question: Why are you namedropping me? If you can't put a coherent thought together you aren't going to be in this game very long.

Does your inability to form coherent thoughts extend to reading comprehension as well? Once again, I don't see where he implied any such thing and I still completely fail to see how I'm connected to your line of chesskid questioning in any way whatsoever other than being the first vote on the wagon.

Along those lines, what exactly constitutes a wagon? I saw he's had at least 3 votes piled on simultaneously thus far. Does that constitute a wagon?

What about the votes you? Do you feel as if your wagon is unwarranted? If so, why?

Incidentally I've got a slight-scum read on you based on the fact that you called Equinox town for crumbing his role while doing no such thing of your own. I figured as long as you and I are going to sit here and shit this thread up we might as well make the conversation productive. So what do you say to that, scum?

Because these are the three I've seen votes on.

I've seen some votes on Maziek as well but we're not lynching him.

I've got town reads on you and chesskid, null reads on everyone else I haven't mentioned so far and leaning-scum read on Jahudo.

inHim it a little too funny to lynch right now.

You guys can wagon Jahudo all you want. I've been trying to get Espeonage to pay attention to this thread since before Jahudo had votes on him. My vote is an extension of my original intent, not a jahudo counter-wagon.

You're hoofing the ground at the wrong pony, chap.

On the contrary.

You're kicking WLC in the nuts for calling attention to something that chesskid should have been called out on -- even if chesskid wasn't entirely serious about a no-lynch vote. Then you sit here and call his posts contentless for sticking to his guns and defending his actions, simply because he's not "scum hunting" to your definition of the term.

Now you're jumping around from lurker to lurker but just a few posts ago you declared that we should all be lynching WLC.

Your wildly swingy lists aren't helpful either.

Any thoughts on this?
Gammagooey wrote:Jahudo it's everything except the wagon part.

Espy wrote:In addition: I AM SO FUCKING HAPPY. I AM EXACTLY THE PONY I WANTED TO BE HELLS FRIKKIN YEAH.

Now continue. Also I think I know who equinox is.

How many people have you seen say I GOT JUST THE ROLE I WANTED as mafia? Granted, he did just say pony and mafia almost definitely have fakeclaims, but upon getting a scum role PM he'd have to actually think about whether or not soft-claiming a well known pony was a good idea given that it would tie down his later claim a little, and it's more likely to come from town than scum because of that. Trying to figure out stuff is also generally a towntell but Equi admittedly made it obvious.
Yeah it isn't super fantastic reasons but he's more likely town than not so dealwithit.

And my point about WLC is that he was using ONE bit of OUTMODED evidence to vote for chesskid.

I've been lurker pushing because we haven't had any wagons get close to completion. Pretty confident that means there are scum lurking. I also don't like to just stick votes and leave them unless I'm 100% confident I have scum on the line.

You answered your own question. I was more fascinated with TheLonging at the time. By the time WLC got around to plopping his vote down the subject had already been discussed. It wasn't really until chesskid started lurking that I decided he was scummier for the no-lynch vote than WLC was for joining the conversation late. Context is everything and clearly you don't understand that concept.

We need to lynch inHim today. End of story.

He's absolutely correct. Scum are always slightly more likely to do anything but actually vote randomly in the RVS. Asking why eventually leads to the answer to the question "is this person scummy." Going against established practice certainly isn't a pro-town thing to do.

Alright.

@Gamma, I do see where you're coming from but it's hard for me to get over the fact that your reads contrast mine to such a large degree on active players yet align so perfectly on inactive players so I'm not entirely convinced that you aren't trying to manipulate me. Either an inHim or a Jahudo flip might change my mind though.

Why are you trying so hard to save inHim anyways?

Now you're trying to strawman me here. You conveniently left out the second part of what I said to you. It's not that he's probtown because I agree with his reads, it's that he's probtown because I can't really see any motivation for a jahudo-powered scum bus

I Thought that post meant you thought jahudo was town because you think inhims is scum and you don't think they're bussing.
which was exactly what i thought you'd say but if you said it then it was basically worthless in terms of me figuring stuff out hence saying don't you dare etc.
which is then followed by me thinking that i got what you said right and saying that to jahudros because if i say i think i know why you think hudo's town and am right then that as a scumtell doesn't make any sense
so i'm not really getting what i got wrong here.

Lots of confused words here. Maybe we are saying the same thing.

This is a very dysfunctional town and with 48 hours left lynching anyone is preferable to a no-lynch.

But take my word for it. inHim is scum.

He's also closest to lynch so

Mina wrote:hohum: I'll be honest. I find hohum's playstyle frustrating and abrasive. The way in which he's calling inHim confirmed scum with rock-solid 100% confidence (and Gamma scum for defending him) is actually provoking a kneejerk reaction in favour of inHim. That said, I think hohum is probably town. He's drawing lots of attention to himself with his play, he's aggressive and questioning people, and he seems sincere about the whole voting bloc.

I'm so sleep deprived that fuck it, I'm not going to elaborate more on this one unless someone asks me to. He's town because I SAY SO, okay?

*facepalm*

I'll start with the obvious here. A total emotional reaction to what's going on here. Tantamount to OMGUS except she's calling me town. Really? You hate me, you don't trust my reads and you're championing an inHim counter-wagon right now, but you still think I'm town?!?

Now on to the subtleties:

Mina wrote:he way in which he's calling inHim confirmed scum with rock-solid 100% confidence (

)

You've been lurking this entire time and you haven't really provided any counter-points to the inHim wagon, nor did you comment on Jahudo's case. I don't believe you really bothered to read anything. You just skimmed over the thread hoping to glean enough information from it to make it appear as if you did because god knows we wouldn't want to be associated with a lurker-induced no-lynch on day 1, amirite?

Also about Gamma: Anyone who stands in the way of a lynch is going to look scummy. It's only natural. I'm tempered enough about my reads that I'm reserving judgment. Also gamma has done some pro-town things in this thread. You; however, have proven quite useless and inept to this point. My advice to you is to get with the fucking program, buss your scum buddy inHim and go back to doing your nails or whatever it was you were doing before you decided to waste our time with your half-assed "reads"

Good day, madam!

Two votes does not constitute a wagon. He had plenty of other targets that were quite a bit well more on the way to L-0 than Fluttershy was.

Anyways I don't know what to make of Equinox. At the moment I'm concerned with two things. Lynching you and confirming jahudo's role. (and possibly even his alignment in the process)

@Jahudo: I need to know if you're on board with the confirmation plan as I've laid it out and if not, you need to state why. If you're in agreement with my plan you need to consider leaving Ojanen alone to her own devices for the rest of the day.

Odd list you have here. You spend D1 saying that you would be willing to vote for Ojanen's slot and Primate's slot was leaning scum. Today, you pick those two to join you in a "confirmable" group and that Ojanen will not be lynched. Puzzling how you came to this list...

Please point out where I ever mentioned interest in voting Ojanen's player slot. I've had a town read on that slot the entire game.

Your point about Primate's player slot is a valid point but all I have to say about that is CHESSKID. Since primate joined the game my opinion about that player slot has changed dramatically.

The reasons behind my choices will become clear once Jahudo's role is confirmed.

It's pretty scummy how she latched on to the WTFRUDOING wagon to justify lynching WLC for his anti-nolynch stance on Chesskid. it's also a little disconcerting that she's blatantly trying to misrepresent my reads on Ojanen's player slot. She isn't paying attention to the thread at best and she's scum at worst. Either way her reads can't be trusted. There's also lots of useless conjecture about characters, roles and who knows what about the show at the beginning of the thread that comes off looking like busy-posting to me.

Other than those comments I haven't been paying close enough attention to her. I don't have strong scum reads as much as I have strong town reads. I'm working by process of elimination in this game. I'd rather lynch Mina today but Fluttershy is one of the two acceptable alternatives at the moment. My opinion might change if things were actually happening in this thread :(

Not two from that first group.
I will do it today but I'm waiting until later so I accidentally don't pick one person we end up lynching. So it would be a good idea to ask me if I'm ready before we hammer.

So what's your solution to this problem? Should we continue to allow you to coast? You've been given ample opportunity to get caught up and you're reacting emotionally and erratically.

Indeed you did, and then CES shows up dead

You've confirmed your role but CES and I really didn't talk much last night because neither of us were really sure of each other's alignment. We did a lot of feeling each other out but that's as far as the conversation got. The mechanics of your role don't work the way I expected them to work and I really doubt there are two town-aligned neihborizers in this game.

Jahudo,

Since the cat is out of the bag I might as well pause here and explain something to you. Hopefully this will shed some light as to why I think you're scum-aligned.

The second neighborizer's mechanics are vastly different than yours are.
  • Yours is a day-time action which takes effect at night. The second neighborizer is purely a night action.
  • Your ability pairs two people together. The second neighborizer's ability pairs him or her with the target.
  • The second neighborizer's role also accpmpanies a mod-confirmed alignment along with a QT link, so I know for a fact that he or she is in fact town.

You confirmed your role but managed to confirm nothing about your alignment nor CES'
