6 months of chat-based before finding mafiascum, over 500 games played in it. 1 completed, 4 or 5 dead-in on-site. Alive in 6 or 7. I forget.

No. I think we should ALL (scum vig doctors all) claim ONE person we are going to save tonight. Has to be different people. Then whoever's save claim dies, DUN DUN DUN. We look into them. Of course, they'll claim vig. So after 3 vig claims, WE CAUGHT ONE SCUM.

1 - experience: Completed one newbie game and one newbie ongoing right now. I play IRL all the time.
2 - philosophy: I agree with glowball. Having a vig claim wouldn't help much.

I've got a question for you all: What is your favourite role to play, and why?
Mine is pretty much anything besides vanilla townie. Which is why I love setups like this where there are no VT's, so no matter what I get I'm happy. But if I have to choose just one, it'd probably be Mafia Rolecop, not only to I get to be mafia and mess with everyone's head, I get to be a cop too :3

Vig, Mime, Gunsmith, or Paranoid Gun Owner.

Mime- lol i get to troll and WIFOM the town into lynching me, and its my role's purpose to troll, so I get to do it without feeling like a dick.

Announcer can send the mod a message to anonymously forward to a player of the announcer's choice.

Kidnapper is a truly godawful third-party role which the mod seemed to have thought up on the spot. It can kidnap someone each night, and they are barred from posting unless the kidnapper dies. The kidnapper has to kidnap a certain role (in this case, "Goomba" - it was a Nintendo-themed game), of which there is only one out of about 36 players, and the kidnapper is given no clue as to who has it.

Also, there was a role called "Magician". I replaced it with "Bus Driver" for that list, because it seemed the most likely substitute given the night results. But then, in a game like that...

I was the Gravedigger, who can transform into any dead role. The SK got lynched D1, and I transformed into it N1 for the lulz. Then I shot the bomb the next night. Oops.

You guys are under valuing the doctors in this set up and having them not protect anyone and let the night kills go ridiculous how does that help? You can lynch me and if I am a vig, then you are down one for that plan
You can lynch me and if I am a doctor, then you are down one protection where at least the doctors could all protect each other 3 for 3

or, we can doctrain 5 for 5.

If you are vig it makes it simpler tomorrow. WiIth only 1 vig tomorrow, we ask for VIGCLAIM, and if 2-3 vigs claim, we lynch between CCs, with better chances of hitting scum than with 2 vigs alive.

Claims do not increase chances of winning in most cases they just make the game more systematic. You still have to have accurate lynches and reads on other players which you guys aren't demonstrating so NO I cannot get behind a lynch ochestrated by people who have horrible scumdar.

Another note to take into consideration: I don't like this Izak, Maru, and BBmolla triple team going on here band waggoning. It could be potentially dangerous in this game, and I'm pretty certain at least one of the three aren't playing town motivated. Which one, I can't narrow down yet. I'm pointing this out so that you three in particular can see the wrong that's happening here, and hopefully shift your views of one another so we don't have a triple team happening all game. It's how town losses and this is not a game we should lose.

doctor pool is 8 people, (for mafia likely 6) so that is a 1/8 or 1/6 chance that they hit the same person, as the game goes on with more lynches it becomes less and less, and 1/8 is too big of a chance for me to want to take that risk.

It seems you're not aware of how probability works. The chances of the same night kill are 1/6 X 1/8, or 1/48. So about a 2.75% chance of hitting the same person. (if your 6 and 8 are numbers that actually mean something, I'm not seeing where you got them from. I'm using 6 as the scum has 6 choices of who to shoot, and 8 as the SK has 8 choices of who to shoot)

also, YES I AM EMOTIONAL AND SENSITIVE, it's hard to control especially when I am in other games making me equally as frustrated.

I generally have a bad feeling about claiming- I just don't like it and I think that there are several ways for it to go wrong and cripple town a whole lot more than scum. You are putting us at an even bigger disadvantage by giving scum the only information that they don't have which are the exact placement of PRs. Actually I don't have to do better than that. Every plan has faults HELL you couldn't even adequately explain what would happen with all of the claims, so you cannot hold me to a standard of disproving them until you have sufficiently proven them. Like I said, if you don't have everyone on board especially the PRs you want outed then your plan doesn't work at all.

If you haven't noticed by my playstyle I usually read through the replies, and as SOON as I see one I want to reply to, I reply to it, without reading the rest immediately. So yes, my vote WOULD have been third, but only because I didn't read her scummieness as quickly as the other voters did. I also wouldn't have KNOWN they were voting for her when I would've voted for her.

And they do confirm doctors, because if their kill fails, then the person protecting their target is confirmed doc. And, the great thing is, if we keep both vigs alive till the end, and even if the mafia doc evades us right till the end, the vigs will be left with only one player to kill. Scum. Basically vigs claim, if you only get two vigs you divide everyone else into 2 groups, and create 1-big doc-train, and have the vig shoot between each group, with the two scummiest-non-vigs protecting the vigs.

If more than two vigs claim all the vigs shoot each other in a shoot train, and whichever ones don't die get lynched.

If you want to look at whether it's broken, the scenario wherein one scum claims vig is probably the most interesting to look at. Scum definitely can't afford for town to have 2 confirmed vigs and sacrificing 1 mafia to get rid of both vigs shouldn't set back the scum too much (if at all).

then you direct all three vig-claims to kill from three-pools, and as soon as two people from the SAME pool die, and one pool nobody dies, you know the vig assigned to that pool was scum, and everyone left in the pool is probablyscum.

because the only ones left IN his pool are scum, or protected by scum.

He will kill within his pool to stop from being lynched, thereby curbing the usefulness of the scum-kill as it will be town-directed.

He will assist the town in giving them confirmed-doctors, and as soon as the only people left in his OWN pool are protected by scum, or ARE scum, he'll quit shooting at them, and will either confirm fake doctors, (while also wasting the scum-kill on NKs), which then leaves the open possibility of vigilantes shooting each other, so as to check the validity of the doctors on them. which will be more encouraged than was encouraged in this game, as ONE of them is scum.

Of course this is all moot of the SK is the third claim, but eventually with enough night-phases, all scum would be dead and you'd learn one of the "3" vigs is an SK, then you tell all three to shoot each other on a circle at that point and lynch the one that doesn't die.
