personally, I think assassin just oozes with opportunism. I'd also bet my left nut that there's at least one lurkscum: especially with the majority of posts coming from a select few.

I've never been a fan of vague assertations of someones alignment based on gut or read. So I don't declare people town or scum based on one or two posts. I'd also be willing to bet that there's at least one scum on the "Socio is Town" train. Heres the pisser though: with so many people not even posting or posting lazy assertaaations of guilt and innocence, it's harder to determine who the scum are.

except lowell. He's always lazy as shit. I can't really speak for some of the others thay I haven't played with. Fate is probably town, but spyrex makes my nerves bad when he's quiet, because town-spyrex is opinionated

so elvis, what kind of fucking reads were you expecting with only a handful of posts?

oh, kuribo has null reads. NO FUCKING SHIT SHERLOCK, by the time you posted that, there were a handful of posts by a handful of players. You may (think) you're good enough to divine someones fucking alignment based on two or three posts, but I sure as fuck aint. Nor would I claim to be. Also, my point was not that you had null reads. My point was that people were all up in your piece to give reads, and finally you gave 5, 2 of which were null and 3 were omgus. Effectively: nothing. I'm assuming the other 20 people in the game are null reads too, but you didn't mention them. But for DGB and spyrex you listed them as a read but with a null conclusion. To make it look like you were doing something. Which you're not.

who says I'm not trying? I said I didn't have shit when you asked me, and what I did have, you chose to disregard. You want more? Fine. Though I think your head is still up your ass, I do genuinely think you think I'm scum. My opinion is that while you can't read me for shit, you are likely town.

You really need to stop posting like this. It's unproductive and the endless postcount-inflation is making the act of catching up seem daunting to those who aren't current, Grimmjow being a good example of someone who goes "Oh shit, eight pages". This deprives us of their input and adds nothing to the game.

oh boo hoo. Anyone that's played with me knows I post alot. Or do you like the idea of town talking less?

And by the by: 12 pages of noise? Not hardly.

1-4: Random Voting Stage
5-6: Defending myself against a retarded wagon
7-8: Telling Sleepless Assassin why he's an idiot, early game thoughts
9: Another overview of some of my observations
10-11: Telling EK that the "page number" question is a ridiculous thing to ask, a few more observations, explaining why I replace into games
12: This very page

So MAYBE you can call 5 and 6 "fluff" if you believe that town is never supposed to defend itself. And MAYBE you can consider some of the posts around the good stuff to be "fluff," but how is that any fluffier than Shattered's "Okay, here's some non-reads and also I had a dream about Grimmjow?" Or Pine asking Reck if he was jealous?

I might surround my opinions in comments about my nipples, but that doesn't mean the opinion isn't there.

Okay, how much crack have you smoked? How is it you take "I will win" as it pertains to a 5v1 and turn it into "I am a self-aligned Serial Killer who should be ignored because I will win the game and have no teammates?"

If you take that as fact, you're probably also taking as fact Fate's comments about him bussing people.

And you're also taking as fact the idea that I think you're partaking of inhaled cocaine in rock form.

I mean, not only do you say that's how you interpret his innocuous non-comment, but it
also affects your gameplay by helping you determine how you vote.
I... I don't even know how to address something so insane. Lay off the pipe.

Yes, exactly this. Even if one disregards the context, "I will win" could also indicate, say, a Survivor.

Not that I think Hindu's statement was anything other than a comment about the (retarded) 5v1, just that I think it takes a seriously flailing scum (or damaged brain) to make the leap to "Shit, this guy's a serial killer! Better find the Mafia and let him do his business!"

So you're chalking up to stupidity the fact that:

he thought that "i will win" completely out of context was a serial killer tell
and that he forgot the setup
and that he thought he found a serial killer and decided the best course of action was to let him live
and that he could actuallt defend this idiotic position
and somehow these events make you think he's town? Are you high pr is he your scumbuddy?

lets see:

"get him, he isn't scumhunting" while providing next to none of that himself. And it's only any if you consider unexplained "X is town, Y is scum" statements

when asked why I'm scum, it was "isnt it obvious, he almost wants to be lynched." this is scum trying to justify a future mislynch.

he agreed with chunky about town needing to explain their reads... While doing none of it himself.

this is literally a summary of his fucking "scumhunting" up until the SK crap

DGB's annoying half-play bugs the shit out of me, but i really don't like how fast her counter-wagon picked up steam.

especially when we HAD SCUM AT L-1 and you guys didn't even wait for him to finish his fucking "analysis" before you said, "Oh, shit, that's good enough for me!"

Spy's right. Look at that shit that guy posted. LOOK AT IT. as much as the people in this game have bitched and whined about "fluff," that post is the ultimate in fucking fluff posts--- and it's THE WORST FUCKING KIND since it pretends to be content

how do you not see the smug satisfaction in that PBP as he finally, after TWENTY-ODD PAGES decides to pretend he has a reason for his dumbass opinions? how do you not see that he thinks this will placate you? you should be fucking insulted that he thinks that retarded, shitty PBP should even come CLOSE to counting as fucking content, LET ALONE CONTENT THAT GETS HIM OFF AN L-1

OH

and i especially like the fact that he says, "hay guys, kuribo, spring, fate, spyrex are teh scumz" and then comes up with half-baked retarded reasonings behind that. Then why is it that in his fucking PBP he ALSO says that "if Fate and Kuribo are scum, Hindu is their buddy?" Why the fuck is the scumteam "kuribo, spring, fate, Spyrex" but if #1 and #3 are scum, Hindu is scum? Why wasn't it "kuribo, spring, Fate, and hindu are scum?" Or "kuribo, Hindu, Fate, and SpyreX are scum?"

I'll tell you why.

I'll fucking tell you why.

Because he decided to hop onto my wagon, brand me the Candyman, and anyone that defended me was "OMG OBVSCUM" and he fucking forgot about this fact when he was vomiting idiocy all over that PBP.

how fucking stupid does he think a scum team would have to be to have THREE FUCKING PEOPLE "defending" ONE GUY?

what kind of idiot fucking moron thinks that the scum team outs themselves on day fucking one like that? Whether it's four scum or five scum, how fucking stupid does he think people are?

i'll tell you what kind of idiot fucking moron--- none. none whatsoever. no idiot in all the idiot mafia games on all the idiot planets in all the idiot universes as part of every fucking idiot dimension both discovered and undiscovered could think for a god damn SECOND that three scum OUTTED THEMSELVES ON DAY ONE to defend one guy. you know what kind of idiot thinks that? scum that doesn't really believe what he's thinking. AND BAD SCUM AT THAT.

1v1 is retarded as fuck

5v1 is 5 times as retarded

i mean, for christ's sake, YOU ADMIT YOURSELF THAT YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING

hell, you're assuming that the rest of the town doesn't think your "plan" (or lack thereof) isn't completely stupid

and you shouldn't assume that

because it is

and we all know it

The dangerous "fluff" to me isn't the "fun" stuff about Reck and Socio buggering each other or my penis waving around in the breeze with a mighty flex. What I'm saying is that even when you provide "in-depth reads," they STILL offer little to no rhyme or reason as to what you're doing. It's as if you come to your (retarded) conclusion and then base your "opinion" around it. And that's what scum does. In fact, as SpyreX demonstrated, some of your "fluff" can be discarded as adding pointlessly to the sheer volume of your post, and when this is done it shows just how hollow your (pathetic) contribution is.

and i may as well do this before somebody comes along with "hurrrr hurrr what do you mean khan gives you a bad feeling?"

* Claims to know my style. Then admits that he based this on wiki pages that he skimmed. DID imply that he had first-hand knowledge by saying that we played in a newbie game together. Too chickenshit to say who he was back then.

* When it was pointed out that, yes, I've been hostile toward others for years, (as shown by the VERY FUCKING WIKI HE SKIMMED) he poo-pooed it with "Oh, well, the groundwork was there." The game that was linked to him was the game were I called Sun_Tzu a "FLAMING ASSMASTER." I'm a douche. I know it. I'm fine with it, and it's been a part of how I play Mafia for a long time. To try and paint it otherwise is disingenuous as fuck. Claims that it's all a "psychological ploy" and that I'm trying to avoid attention. Anyone who's ever met me for five seconds knows that I FUCKING LOVE ATTENTION. Too god damn smug for his own good.

* Tries to make it look like I'm going after lurkers. What? There's no god damn way anyone with an ounce of self-respect could have read what I said that way.

* He pushes for Assassin to claim. That must mean he thought Assassin was scum, right? WRONG. He has NEVER ONCE voted for Assassin, and even when SA was caught trying to hunt third parties, his only reply was "Good lord, that's dumb." You're god damn right it's dumb, and dumber still that you handwaved it so you could...

* Make assumptions about Reck's drunk posting. Hahaha, what the fuck is this? I don't even know how to start with the stupid that Khan vomited all over the thread with this shit.

* What was the point of asking me who I thought was lurking? I THINK IT'S PRETTY FUCKING OBVIOUS WHO THOSE PEOPLE ARE. Who among you can get a read on Maltusius who's posted like, three times? Or MME who by now should have someone go to his house and see if he's still alive? Why did Khan take a question asked of me by EK back on page, like what? 7? And push it on page god-knows-what as if I were still dodging it somehow?

* Accuses chunky of providing little to no substance with his complaints about peoples' playstyle... and yet makes excuses for DGB's explanationless lists? Says she "usually includes little cutesy reasonings," and then... disappears?

* Accuses chunky of only finding the two biggest suspects supsicious, but what? Who have been Khan's suspects? Me. (Biggest wagon first ten pages) Reck. He wants SA to claim at what he thinks is L-1 but is unwilling to have ever thrown his vote on there or even to question SA further.

What we see here is a pattern of Khan being real fucking selective about who he wants to be seen putting the screws to.

And even if I were "fake raging" or whatever the fuck bullshit, what does that even fucking mean? How the fuck does that make me scum, you stupidass? "Psychological ploy?" That's got to be the DUMBEST FUCKING ANYTHING EVER. Please, for your own sanity, note that even people who thought I was scum then, and even those that probably still think I am... THEY STILL THINK THAT PSYCHOLOGICAL PLOY THING IS BULLSHIT. You smug fuck. You think you're so god damn hot? Fucking lynch me. Get me lynched, bitch. That is not a town attitude. Town should never want to be lynched.

Hello, if I had a second vote, it would be on you. This is terrible.

anyone who agrees with kev on that has obviously never opened up a game as town and said, "jesus, these assholes again" and then closed their browser... And then half assed it because nobody likes telling the mod to replace them. Town get frustrated or apathetic. Sometimes they throw their hands up and say "screw this."

in fact, I've seen it more times in town than scum

I remember why I stopped playing back when I did. I was going through some really personal stuff, and mafia just had no appeal to me. As town, I found myself too emotionally tired to argue with idiots. As scum I just didn't have the energy to lie and manipulate. (plus I sucked as scum) so I found myself half assing it across the board, and when I got endgamed in the last one, I just went away. So DGBs story does ring a few bells of familiarity.

In post 740, Kublai Khan wrote:@everyone: Who is against lynching chunkykev at this point? Shattered Viewpoint? xRECKONERx?

I'm not against lynching him per se, because in the first 20 pages, most of his posts are him complaining about declarative statements without reasoning given. Problem with that is, I do agree with him on that point--- but this isn't MD, and you're not going to change the playstyle of those that do this. And it's not going to help us find scum in this game. That said, I've done the EXACT SAME thing as town, so I see this as a null tell. He did finally drop a vote onto DGB for this, but... what? This wasn't worthy of a god damn vote until he was called out for not voting and until Shattered QuoteTags, Elli, Fate, and I were already on the wagon.

And why DGB? Why not Lowell? That guy is the god damn king of not explaining shit. Why not Shattered QuoteTags, who can barely be fucking bothered to PLAY, other than dropping a vote every now and then? Or Springlullaby? In fact, kev doesn't even accuse her of being scum, just that not explaining her reads annoys him. What? I thought we were supposed to be hunting scum, not people that fucking annoy us. And THEN, he seems to make it clear that the reason he's voting her is because he's had enough of her playstyle and he's been poking at her all fucking day. Which he has... but he never voted her until Khan called him out on it, and trying to pass it off as otherwise is bullshit.

For what? At least 300 - 400 posts now, chunky's been complaining about DGB's play. But again, he didn't vote her until it was "viable." Sure, he said he WANTED to vote SleeplessAssassin for the same reason... but he didn't. He could have voted any of the other people who, in his words, are "useless." But notice that he doesn't say she's scum. He calls some of her behavior scummy, sure. But does chunky even think DGB is scum? Or is he just trying to force her to play a different style? Or is he in over his head in this game? And he gave the most bullshit answer when EK asked him why he was tunnelling on DGB.

Why accuse someone of not answering your attacks when you already know they're barely reading the game? I mean, listen, I personally think if DGB has too much shit going on in her life to give this game the attention it needs, she should just replace out and we'd all understand. Not like her slot's in a fucked position anyway. But to try and paint it as if she's intentionally ignoring you? That's disingenuous as all fuck.

He doesn't even express an interest in Shittered QuoteTags until after it's pointed out that he's been ignoring people who aren't DGB.

I really don't like how chunky seems to be trying to modify his shit to adapt to the criticisms he's called out on.

let's poke at him some more

Unvote
Vote: Chunkykev

if anything, scum should be happy about replacements, because

A) LOOK AT HOW MANY FREAKING PAGES THIS GAME IS. they probably figure they can get away with more bullshit with a replacement having to go through all that

and

B) Who's to say that malt wasn't scum? why would scum fear one of their own? i'm not saying he is, or isn't because that slot hasn't posted in so long. but in the event that malt was scum, then his scum partners have more to gain and less to fear by him getting replaced.

i mean, really, i don't think i can overstate how much of an idiot "scum fears replacements" makes you sound.

to me, it points to you accidentally using knowledge that you have first hand--- you assumed that everyone knew the scum were daytalking. but why would anyone assume that? 33 pages makes the game feel like it's been going on for weeks and weeks. Not one week and a day. but, maybe i'm just an idiot who didn't notice when the mod said that

as an aside, i only just figured out when i posted about it that it was what you meant when you said "scumslip"

Unless he wasn't actually confused himself. In which case, throwing around confusion such as this would be a scum tactic.

In post 426, Hinduragi wrote:In post 384, Hinduragi"]
I don't necessarily think Fate is scummy.

And I'm mainly looking at this. Why say this if you thought he was scummy.

I didn't say that Fate was scummy. I actually was talking about when Fate said he'd hate to have to bus Kuribo D1, and it pinged me funny that he would use the word bus. But I also stated that it might just be that I wasn't used to how you all talk in these games. I thought it would be obvious by me saying this, but I also thought it might have been obvious sarcasm to some people while I misunderstood the meaning behind it.

Now, one thing that I just saw that bugs me more than the "bus" comment:
In post 426, Hinduragi wrote:Goddammit. It took a while but I'm right. Sleepless Assassin is town. Terrible, terrible town. I knew something wasn't right with that wagon and he'll probably say more retarded stuff after this but he is town. I ISO'd him and looked at why I dropped off. Add to that the rest of what he's said today, he's town.

Kuribo then turns around and does a basic play-by-play of the SA SK theory, and Hindu then states:
In post 428, Hinduragi wrote:Whether he's scum or town, he did all that bullshit.

So if you were so certain TWO POSTS AGO that he was town, why would you back off so quickly and say this, which comes with a notion of uncertainty?

Chunky bothers me, with his incessant "READS WITH NO REASON WHAAAA?" I totally understand the rationale behind wanting reasoning with someones reads, but he seems to be focused more on this notion then with actually scumhunting.

DGB pops in with very little content. I know I've been MIA for a while, but before then, I was at least posting my thoughts etc. and engaging in conversation, whereas she just popped in for a moment and nothing.

Also, I get why Hindu and Rhinox jumped on me for my vote. Had I read it outside of myself, yeah, I would have thought the same thing. I just couldn't really put into words why else I felt he was scum. Accept it or not.

SA's dismissal of the L-1 in order to go back and post reads is more of a null tell for me. I could see it as "Well, if I die, I die, but I'm going to be as useful to the town as possible before that happens." I could also see it as "Well, I'm going to ignore this L-1 shit and act like I'm something of value to the town." Former: town. Latter: scum.

In post 451, Rhinox wrote:
In post 449, kuribo wrote:you realize there was plenty of reasons you were scummy before you derped your pants about the setup right

I'm curious to hear your opinion of those reasons in list format.

hey, if you want to lynch the crap out of SA for his useless fake-lurking, i'm all for that (because he is scum, you see)
