1. (This is obvious but...) It's very important we communicate and coordinate over who gets the night kill on the thread. If we all vote for whoever we want, odds are the mafia are going to get it. Plus it will give us more information to work with the next day

Yes. Communication is going to be key for winning this thing. If we all vote for whoever we want during the night, we can also gain lots of information from that as well.

2. I would be willing to bet that there are four scum players, because that would give them a total of eight votes. That means it only takes one dead townie, or two depending on what happens in a tie, for them to be able to use their nightkill. I would be surprised if there were three scum players or less, because that means that they only have six votes. It would take three dead townies before they had access to the kill; which in a game this small seems like a long time. There could always be two teams or a SK, but that would also surprise me in this setup.

I think this should stay as a moot point right now. If we end up killing 3 witches and not win, the there are obviously more then and we sniff out the rest.

3. Therefore, I think it would probably be in our best interest to give the execution to someone who would opt for a no lynch with it (or just not reach a majority). This way going into night we could have 9 town votes against 8 mafia votes. As long as we all coordinate on who we want to have the kill, and who we want that person to kill, it would be better than using our lynch to kill them. That way we guarantee that the mafia won't have access to a nightkill day one.

This is assuming that the game is 9 townies vs 4 mafia though, which is admittedly a stretch. We also don't know if there are any abilities that tamper with votes on nightkills, or anything like that, so this could be risky if we do it. However, unless we have a strong reason to suspect why someone might be scum, I think this would be our best option.

Ehh...like you said, that is banking on the numbers thing here. I think we should only opt for a No Lynch at the times when we have to tread lightly. We can safely walk away from 2 lynches today. It is a risk I am willing to take here.

As for the stuff Exe said, he pretty much summed up most of what I wanted to say.

I also propose that we do not choose the same person for the day and night lynch. This way we do not choose a townish scum and give him control of the game.

As for my day vote, I am toying between giving it to Tragedy under the premise of "Girls first" and for being awesome or give it to Final Fires for a gut feeling.

As of right now, I think Exe would be a better night vote choice instead of day.

Obviously We can't have night claims so how did you guys want to deal with day(possibly night) claims? When the executioner decides on their kill, I think we can wait for 24 hours for a claim during the day.

This is the way I see it going down.

Each person should keep a (small) list of their top suspects that they are willing to kill. (Exe's idea here)
Then the person we are voting for is the person who is going to become the executioner during the day. This person will be the one who has the final say on who is going to die.
Before we finalize on that though, we would also like to "plan" on who the night executioner is going to be seeing as how there will be no time for discussion then. During the night though, the mafia's votes count twice, so if we don't plan out our night executioner, the mafia has more say in who it will be.

I would recommend, at least for now that we don't choose the same executioner for both the day and night phase.

I see no pro-town reason why anyone would say this. How were you hoping twisted would answer you? "I know because I am a cop/doc?" This question just seemed like it was designed to out a PR. The executioner is only going to execute who we tell them to execute. If they execute somebody else, then we kill them as soon as possible. Every moment we spend arguing about who should have the honor of actually typing "Execute: [WHO THE TOWN CHOSE] is a moment we are not arguing about who to execute, and that is by far the more important question. The quicker we do that, the quicker we can start discussing night scenarios. There are four questions we need to answer every day. Of those four, three of them are of crucial importance. The fourth is a formality, and we should take care of it as soon as possible.

If we haven't elected an executioner in 24 hours, then everybody who obstructs that process is going to shoot right up my scumlist.

The reason for this is that then scum will have to decide for sure if Vezo is telling the truth or if he is just bluffing, which forces them to make a harder decision. If we force Vezo to claim, but don't plan to kill him, then we risk the chance that scum get the kill AND know exactly whether or not they need to kill Vezo.
And, to your second part, if you understand this part now, I think you'll see that I meant that scum having WIFOM is a good thing.

Then there is also the possibility of scum PR counter roles. I also agree that it might not be the best idea.

I think someone asked me about my read on TS. Right now it's slightly town. I was thinking he was scum before the daykill, but the fakedaykill in conjunction with Umbrage's using TS as town as his basis for suspecting me makes me believe his case on me is contingent on TS being town (which if Umbrage is scum, he would know whether it's true or not). It's what I often try to do as scum, so I pick up on it easily.

Man, TS is trying his absolute hardest to dig his grave as fast as possible with 122 and calling attention to people not providing content, when it really seems like he isn't either. On D1 someone claimed a PR at L-3 or L-2 (very first wagon of the game too), then claimed what his power was (which he actually semi-lied about), and end the end turned out to be on the town side. Main difference here though is vezok didn't fess up a power. I think FF might have brought this up earlier, but the best course of action might be to let him live today and have him fess up tomorrow and we decide on him from there.

Studying for one last midterm for tomorrow, then spring break.

Points I want to bring up though:

I see only two outcomes of what happened in the night. (Going off of how people said they voted at night)
1) amrum is scum and took a risk. IF there are three scum, then they couldn't take over the vote. IF there are four, then yes they could.
2)amrun is town and really thought that the town wanted veto dead. That means all of the scum could have voted for amrun and easily sway the night vote if there are either three or four of them.

To me, probability wise, case two makes the most sense. Just the way the amrun wagon build up seemed like it was planned that way

^^^Stuff like that from StrungOver is bothering me the most. This makes me think that it is scum that saw a golden opportunity to have a townie kill a PR for them, and then bus the townie to an easy grave. So to completely answer Setael's question, I think this option is a lot more feasible then Amrun taking a risk like that as scum.

As for Exe's, I am sticking with StrungOver as my vote for the kill today. Umbrage's vote for Amrun really bothers me too though. His answer to my question is kinda meh...Amrun said he was voting for Final Fires that night, and we talked about him being the back up for the night executioner, so I thought it would be clear for every townie to vote for Final Fires to no kill if they didn't want Amrun to kill Vezo (which obviously no one did). And yes Final Fires vote on him also bothers me as well, but as for me StrungOver is by far the most obvious choice for me.

Forgot the 3DS was coming out this weekend, so that has made my life a bit more difficult then I would have liked.

From D2 I had a town vibe from Seteal. While I firmly believed that it was scum trying to bus Amrun for doing their dirty work, I felt like Seteal was a townie on that wagon. TS and SO were pushing for that lynch in a scummier fashion.

As to the stunt Exe pulled, that would be fake daykill #2 and a massclaim suggestion. Now, I have been thinking about it, and numerically it would help us. But then you add in how this game works and that throws the numbers right out the window and could end up screwing the town up badly. (seeing as how this could be LyLo situation for town).

Then everyone else I really need to go back and see if I can fit things together. I'm positive there is something we are missing. I also have to give those posts with the votecounts a better look and really read them from the other person's perspective.

As for night votes tonight:
If we hit scum, all town can vote for me and we can keep the night kill. (assuming there is no scum PR we are unaware of)
If we hit town, it has to be someone other than me so we can draw the votes. (assuming there is no scum PR we are unaware of)

So in regards to Haschel Cedricson:

Going through his ISO from D1, there are a lot of posts that jump out as scummy to me. The wanting to rush Exe or anyone else as executioner/wagoning TS/weird pledge thing.

Don't know if it was sleeping on it, or giving it more time, but when you look at his later post though, I can actually see them in a more town light. Instead of seeing the rushing/pledge/most the other things he said, they actually seem to have more of a town twist on them now. And him being town actually works into my next thought:

First off, Exe, if you think you are confirmed town, you are delusional. In fact, a daykill ability seems perfect for scum, since they can lose their nightkill. Although when I said a VT should die, I was thinking of a normal mafia game, because then VTs left alive make it easier for scum to narrow down PRs. So...balancing issues with this game. The scum have to have a power role in this game. I think we can all agree on that. But what would it be? As Umbrage pointed out, a killing role would seem to balance things out a bit. Also, if the mechanics works like Exe claimed then the scum team would be Exe and 2 of these (Tragedy, Twistedspoon, Setael) by PoE. I come to those three because scum would obviously not vote to elect someone before their partner could easily take out the townie during the day. So Exe, why the "this game is over anyways. GG scum part"?

Oh, and for it being OP in LyLo situations, today wasn't supposed to be a LyLo day.

I thought it over and Exe is not scum. Wouldn't make to much sense if they had a day vig and a night killer, which I am about 90% sure that they do.

Think about it. We didn't see an extra kill from N1 because we have a doc and they guessed right the first night.
N2 scum killed FF because they knew about the doc and guessed he would protect me. If I am correct here, when the doc claims, they can confirm one more townie, unless I was the save N1. No, I don't think they should out themselves yet imo.

As far as things are fanning out. TS and Charter are my top two scum picks now
