Someone should translate this bit and put forward an action plan.ReaperCharlie wrote:This makes it so that you can only put one player above the 60% threshold, but you can roleblock two people per day effectively if you don't want to kill either of them (well, really, you can kill one and roleblock the other in some cases, but only on days when the percentages line up exactly. This was on purpose). Doing it this way shouldn't really affect endgame, because 4/6, 3/5, 3/4, 2/3 will all still come out to greater than 60%. The 60% being different than the 50% majority only affects down to 7 players, where four players only constitute a 57% majority, which will not be enough. After that, however, the "lynch threshold" for this game will be for all practical intents and purposes no different than a 50% majority. Again, this was on purpose.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Guess what maggot, your words carry no weight as you have established yourself as a narcissistic, short-sigthed and unreliable worm.Toogeloo wrote:The Vote system is also silly because it is a simple way to control player's striking.
Let me put this another way:
I am powerful and you don't know my alignment. This is bad for you. Striking takes control away from you. I can influence the course of this day with my word and my strike. You are worthless organic decay.
Let this be a lesson to anyone that strikes prematurely.
Ignore Toogeloo's braindead opinions and posts as punishment, maybe he will grace us with a more competent replacement.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Lady Lambdadelta and DrippingGoofball are valuable town assets regardless of their alignment. One for her uncanny talent to detect mafia as proven by the large theme OoT and the other for her incredibly charismatic ability to lead a wagon to its swift conclusion with a honeyed voice and sense of humor unique to her own. I would have both players in my corner until an entire faction is destroyed. Plus, if they are SKs I avoid a nightkill for buddying to them. I am bi-winning.Guard your honor. Why are you interacting with the maggot? Going for easy townpoints Magna? Whether town or scum we should ignore, as his influence on our lynch has been extinguished last page. If I were to name one person town in this game, it would be Magua...and not only do I agree with his read, but Plum is on that wagon with some good logic as well, AND I happen to see right through his scummy front. Hrezs should be lynched today.

Bad reasons ^^^
1) Voting Wraith doesn't have anything to do with playstyle choice, I interpreted it as FEAR.
2) That is the general consensus
3) That's not scummy; he didn't demand gummy's head on a stick for not posting yet.
4) They are both scummy
5) Woooh....hrezs is a good wagon. You are allowed other suspicions.
ThAdmiral, you realize that I've done all of the things you accuse Friend of doing (yes, ALL) and yet you mention him and not me. That prety much KILLS your 'double standard' accusations against him.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-

Actually, while I don't like "alliances" per se, I'm by nature paranoid about such things, everything else is appearing good and stuff so leaning town.
I think we would plateau at 45-55% of strikes required with that plan, and then stall for a week for lurkers and dissidents to come around for that extra push over the cliff. Instead, once a majority is achieved, we have to enforce the entire population to submit to the democratic choice regardless of personal opinion.Kublai Khan wrote:
Isn't that at odds with the speed-strike plan?Albert B. Rampage wrote:At majority, first we force the lurkers and dissidents to strike our target, then we strike our target.
We /strike instead of vote. We can't take back strikes (unstrike). When 60% of the players have striked a player, he or she dies. We are now pseudo-voting so that once someone's reached a majority of votes, we mass-strike.DrippingGoofball wrote:

Just to be clear, if I were SK I wouldn't care who dies, if I were mafia I would let my own teammates die because I was suspicious they were inner circle and if I were inner circle I wouldn't attract attention to my fellows. Dissecting DGB's game:
-Out of the blue scum lists (null tell)
-Calling random people town (null tell)
-Passiveness (scum tell)
-Posting little content (scum tell)
-Bullying someone who hasn't personally attacked her (town tell)
Reference her town play here:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 1#p2586161
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 5#p2202465
Scum play here:
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 23&start=0
Typical DGB laziness. Talks about the setup the early game, makes a bold claim to draw attention to her (I do it all the time as scum to get myself more involved in the game). All of her "content posts" are directly relied to her analysis of "reactions" to her. In other words, she isn't scumhunting, just inventing random crap based on her own interest in herself. She doesn't have much to say as scum. As town she will do actual analysis.
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 8#p2529968
Again, "lack of enthusiasm", "going through the motions", in other words some DGB humor we all love, some setup discussion to keep her post rate up, and hiding behind the various defensive "null tells" I mentionned earlier.
"I would just like to point out that I like to fake being "lost" as scum."
http://www.mafiascum.net/forum/viewtopi ... 7#p2430317
Does this raise anyredflags for you too?
Her town and scum play are notably different, at least to me. I can tell that she is neither interested in finding scum here nor in standing out in any way, shape or form. What she IS interested in, is bandwagon and lynch. But notice her lack of vote for Hrezs while simultaneously calling him scum (effectively bandwagonning in a game without votes):
And pushing his lynch:DrippingGoofball wrote:

At least provide a list of those that need to have posted "content" so that it's close-ended, and so that the Hresz wagon doesn't fritter away while we twiddle our thumbs waiting.
Camn is right, what this game needs is carnage.[/quote]
It is clear as day that her aim is to survive the night and not piss anyone off. Her day game is nothing but a distraction from her night strategy. She's just "going through the motions", as she says.

I came into this game with a fresh perspective, it seems you were carrying a lot of personal baggage. I'm sorry you feel that way. Honestly, I thought you were like me and put a game behind you after it was over. I was wrong. You don't have any respect for any player in this game.DrippingGoofball wrote:I don't - but most games with ABR end up with a fight to the death between the two of us, which is really disrespectful of the other players wanting a game without annoying drama. The last one I was in with ABR didn't happen that way, but I was scum, and I think he was, too, if memory serves. All other games ended up with retarded duels, mostly both of us being town.
Time and time again I gave you opportunity to say something relevant.
Togeloo asked you to post content. You blatantly ignored him.
I waited. And waited. And nothing from you.
You had many warnings from other players before I striked you. There's no point crying over spilled lemonade, so please, just recluse yourself out of this game politely now.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.-
