Fallout Shelter (scum would LOVE to be impervious from nukes. Especially with Terrorist likely taking a sub.)
Sub (this was handled well by Magua with his "if you don't want a power plan")
Aircraft Carrier
Fighter

Town getting their hands on these powers would hurt scum GREATLY.

I was only trying to tell Fate and Magua to stop their lynch trading Bullshit, and work together on lynching the real scum. For example, the ones they listed.

Magua is town, and so is Fate. All I was asking was for them to stop their town on town crap.

The only thing worse than that game though, was Prana.

Being fair, I should have believed his tracker claim on Zito. I mean, ZITO SHOT SPYREX FFS.

But I was blinded by pure and unspeakable rage at Prana insulting me in every post he made.

See, I don't agree with Faraday in that being a town tell. This game has been run twice now, and unless someone would care to correct me, it doesn't appear there are many changes in the mechanics from this game, and the previous two.

So Mina trying to "break the game" and not coming up with anything is actually null. Her posts after she comes back are better though, so she IS town, just not for the reasons Faraday gave.

Which makes me go hmmm about Faraday really...

RC has shown no evidence to suggest why he thinks Dana and AV are scum together. Finding them individually scummy is one thing, but he's advocating that they are both scum, and so he has no preference in which one is lynched first.

OR, option two is that he unvoted AV because he though he was more townie than Dana(which is what I thought it was).

In either case, RC is scummy. If they were scummy individually of eachother, he would have a prefered lynch of the two, and be pushing it.

Instead he chose to "make competing wagons", which wasn't town. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

He lives in Australia, so he's online at weird hours.

He usually posts in short bursts, but makes long wall posts when he does.

The SK actually Would use this more often, because they are so concerned with their own survival.

It's not a substitution cipher because I tried all potential substitutions.

I also tried to get somewhere with common letter pairings and letter frequency.

That didn't work.

And that's because it is a PlayFair Cipher. Playfair ciphers involve using 2 letter pairings, and discounting any kind of spacing or punctuation. That's why you've gotten gibberish so far.

I've got pages of notes here, and I'm getting closer~.

Katsuki was a huge town read for most people. Katsuki doesn't contribute anywhere near enough to the game for it to be a kill I would consider. As scum, I would be happy to let Katsuki sit off in her own little world, and do whatever the hell she wants. She expressed little to no read on me/ neutral read.

As scum, I go for a more polarizing kill. I either kill off the scummier players if I feel I can work my way past the town leaders. Or I kill off a town leader with a CLEARLY expressed town read on myself, to make myself look better. People don't expect you to kill the people who have you down as a town read.

All in all, the Katsuki kill is weak. Had I been scum, I would have killed Gorilla. For a few reasons:

1) I thought he was SK. SK dead= good for a scum team
2) Even if Gorilla flips town, I still look good because I had been so vocal in expressing my desire to have Gorilla die. People wouldn't look at that as a "good scum kill" for someone in my position.
3) He's got eavesdrop.

It has the most gain. Gorialla EASILY would have been my kill last night as scum.

P-Edit: The Mina kill was because Fate wanted Mina dead, and was suspecting me/SpyreX. I knew the Mina kill would draw him towards someone like UK. I.E: It had the polarizing effect of being SUCH a weird kill, that people didn't suspect me for it.

Fuck. It doesn't work in ANY of the other ones.

I was looking at the phrase " kgxqvdezslxqedmxammtkmastmdrvfqobsmtulandvxqmtnqmucuzy" since it was longer, and gave a better idea of letter frequency.

But letter frequency is shit when the letters come in pairs.

So I started doing PAIR frequencies, and seeing what came up a lot.

And through the use of external programs that I borrowed, I was able to come up with a phrase of complete GIBBERISH.

Until I removed the X's, and started making words out of it.

And it worked.

The phrase I got was:

ifyoubusmeyouloseonefrexenukeionlyneedtobuyonemoredayx

Now removing the x's you get:

if yo ub us me yo ul os eo ne fr e en uk ei on ly ne ed to bu yo ne mo re da y (I put in the spaces here, because I see it better here.)

And making words out of it, this is what I got:

If you bus me you lose one free nuke I only need to buy one more day

Put in punctuation:

If you bus me, you lose one free nuke. I only need to buy one more day.

This may be totally off the fucking mark, but I don't think it is. I mean, NONE of the other phrases work with it.... but it works on this one?

I reverse engineered a passkey from this plain text to the cipher text. It gave me: etavulpc

Looks like fucking gibberish AGAIN.

Maybe I'm making shit up, I don't know. But I think we need to start looking at people who have nukes...

I mean, TH is a common two letter pairing, but as a suffix, it isn't common at all. It's about placement aswell as frequency.

However, I do agree about the HD/DH. Those are all good pairings for that.

I haven't actually run any real analysis on that phrase. I'll try at some point, but I'm not feeling up to it tonight.

That code is completely different from the one I have already solved. All the frequency is based entirely on what is contained withing the message.

To utilize a frequency assumption from the other code would send you down a wrong track entirely.

Starting from scratch is the ONLY way to ensure success. Which is tedious, but it can be done.

My first instinct is that it's probably" ON", but that's a low percentage guess. I'd like to do a further analysis to see if I can't come up with something. But not tonight ;_;

You obviously are assuming that the pages were laid out in a nice format, with easy to follow steps and full sentences (or words).

It's mostly random letter pairings, numbers, and quick calculations. Not to mention it's all written randomly all over the page.
