Afaik, MoI isn't a newbie to the game in that he has played elsewhere before, so I'm not really inclined to second that nomination.
If he wants to come in here and refute that, though, I'd be more than happy to slap an Nth on there like herring on rye.

Nik is correct. Before coming here I had almost two years of forums experience (including over 50 games and 4 GM / Backup stints). I know most players have some experience with Mafia before arriving but I don't think including me in a Newb category is appropriate.

Nominating yourself is supremely frowned upon. The only reason I haven't yelled at xRECKONERx for doing it above is that
a. SK wins are sufficiently rare that they should be auto-nominated for a scummy.
b. It's had two other people agree with the nomination.

Also, having lots of posts doesn't really give a good measure of being good or "outstanding" or whatever. There's a reason we specifically no longer have a most active player scummy.

I wish that rule was in effect when I won as SK. I tried so unsubtely to get a nom.

Absolutely floored the town, killed off two of the game's three power roles on Day 1, with RedCoyote sealing the win on Day 2 by dissuading a lynch on his predecessor. Claimed gunsmith after some shenanigans and got the final LYLO mislynch.

Newbie 933 was the one where he is BAD. Like, his play was HORRENDOUS.

Its not an extremely amazing improvement. But its pretty impressive.

Listen, they did own the town. but not because they were excellent players. The town frikkin gave them the win. With all the stupid caps lawk raging and lack of activity and apathy people had it was obv the scum were gonna win. just read the link and I don't like the Nomination. If the town had played better this would be a def yes but...they didn't.
