I'm finding myself not liking this post. Its giving me a weird gut ping that it feels fake but I dont know how to explain it fully.

You mentioned earlier that we were early on in the day, but here you are acting like there is a sense of urgency that feels like a subtle contradiction.

kyouko is town (maybe a little over-tunneled on Lap for this early in the game, but who among us),
Dragon may be town (see my earlier response to him),
cw is very likely town, which is a bummer cuz if they follow their current trend it'll get them yeeted
on a personal note I just really want Flavor to be town, if he's scum his pockets are getting crowded
and I slightly townlean the doll

It’s early Day 1, why is HPE shutting further pressure down in that way?

Ok I've finished skimming up to the present moment but I haven't given things any deep thought yet, I probably need to go for a run or something to let things noodle, but here are some dumb first impressions:

• CW going from troll status to holy wall posts has a "doth protest too much" vibe. I get you were threatened with a ban but wow. Could make for a good lim today but ... I kinda think you're towny on balance so I dunno if that's the move right now
  
• Joyboy is a source of frustration but not worth voting, I kinda agree with cw's point about "why waste the scum draw" or w/e it was
  
• Flavor is basically confirmed at this point I guess so I'm gonna quiet the paranoid part of my brain and assume nothing wild is happening
  
• HPE still feels towny to me, but probably needs a read-back, I think Flavor made the point about their wagon getting de-railed in favor of Laplacian and I want to consider that if true
  
• Hu Tao does not feel towny, particularly
  
• I don't see any reason to TR Purple at the moment unless there's something from D1 I'm forgetting about (always possible)
  
• I find it a little hard to think scum!Kyouko deathtunnels like that against Town!Lap, Kyouko still town
  
• Gera is in lurk mode if present at all, but kinda like Purple, I have no reason to TR them
  
• Dragon, I'm really having difficulty with. When we assume Flavor is town, given Dragon/Flavor interactions on d1 the pocket attempt could be real. Aside from that, you have this kind of chaotic energy which I always struggle to read well, and it pings me scummy as a default.

Which leaves me with Hu/Purple/Gera as my least towniest reads, but then that assumes scum is just kinda coasting here, which doesn't seem likely. Feels like there's gotta be a vocal scum member, and if it can't be Flavor, that leaves Dragon, or possibly lately, CW.

I have not thought about associatives for any of the above at this point, btw. I'm just getting my vibes out there so you guys can roast me for being dumb.

Why am I scum before this?

It's not that you're overtly scummy, it's that I have basically no reason to townread you after, what, almost 40 pages? And when I can't say I TR you more than, say, Joyboy or Geraint at this point of the game...

Also, I think you asked somewhere why would I jail you if we hit Kyouko town which is "beneficial" for us? I played the entirety of Day 2 since you claimed around the plan of jailing you if we hit town. And last thing - yes, my clever night play was good and gave us an extra lim, but that doesn't mean I can't be frustrated we didn't use that extra kill on scum!Gamma or scum!HPE, ESPECIALLY because right now you are leaning toward me being scum and I know limming Gamma yesterday and havong Kyo alive today would have meant a totally different gamestate where I don't have to worry about Flavor wanting to lim the JK that protected him last night.

So here’s my conclusion

When i claimed my confirmed Vig shot, I became a scary IC. This made every slot have to fear for the vig shot and not able to push me.

It then became a game of town trying to get me to town read them and scum trying to prevent that.

That maybe explains why day 2 felt so interminable, lotta eggshell walking

I still don't see the Hu Tao town read, but to be 100% honest, I kinda sorta tuned out the back end of d2 and was hoping for some NK analysis. I probably need to read back a bit but good gravy that's a lot of reading. Probably rather look back at the wagons, esp d2

I really don't think Dragon/Hu Tao are paired here. They're both off the elimination wagon on the same alternate target before one of them gets on the lim wagon d1 and the other gets on d2. Hu Tao looks worse for my money given the move from CW to Kyouko (especially if CW turns up scum).

Is it weird that HPE is nearly wagoned d1 and ends up on the lim wagon both days? ehhh. D1 wagons are chaotic and fleeting. I still townvibe that one even though we're probably past the point where I should be reading based on feel

Gamma with the hammer d2 has the benefit of coming in and doing a thorough catch-up and then dropping the hammer, despite professing wants to vote elsewhere. Feels towny. I think the slot is towny on balance, too
