Well, I'm sorry for my inactivity, my only excuse is that CEBM was moving so damn fast. My newbie games have suffered as well. I must say, I'm very happy with the way that Exe's lynch turned out. We essentially lost dead weight, so Exe's sainthood didn't harm us very much.So, rereading the game, I see a few things that imply that certain people knew Exe's role. First, there's Zajnet. At the beginning he says, "You forgot super saint in your sig claim, AGar, xD" or something to that affect. I don't know about you, but SS isn't a role that immediately comes to mind for me. Possibly he had recently had his memory jogged? Granted, it's just as possible that he was looking at the roles page. So I'm doubtful of this one.Also,

So, if I understand the mod's opening statements correctly, we were all given an alignment, and then a role. Is it possible, then, that we have a mafia cop, or a town godfather, or a mafia PGO, or other such things? Also, is it possible that you have roles which were given without their complementary role? (i.e., only one mason, or a firefighter with no arsonist?)

Sounds like he's asking the question so that later he can bring up the fact that he clearly didn't know, since he asked the question. I personally thought it was rather self-explanatory.
Idea just popped into my head. Has anyone considered that vezok could be another jester? Because a lot of his posts really do seem like he's just trying to be lynched.

I didn't like any of the wagons yet. I guess I could have unvoted and watched for a little while, but I wasn't really ready to lynch either of them yet. So I was perfectly happy with continuing the RVS at that point in time. I have a question. How is the Army Veteran different from the PGO? They both redirect to the same wiki page. I definitely agree with AGar regarding quadz's end-o-day actions. As mafia, he really couldn't have had a choice. If he had hammered Exe, then there would have been only one mafia left after D1. Which obviously isn't ideal. /assumes sides are balanced. Also, there's the fact that he asks everyone else to get on before he hammers. It sounds like he's trying to push up activity hoping that someone else will hammer before he's forced to. Also, I think that Espeonage somehow figured out Exe's role. Remember when he randomly unvoted earlier in the day? I think he did that so that he could be the one to drop the hammer. And vezok, you want to explain why I'm a good lynch? Because nobody's going to listen to you if you don't make a case.

That's even worse....there's no reason to worry about quadz's role in the case where quadz is town...unless you're scum of course.

@Agar, why didn't you claim first thing day 1?

I think that claiming outright on D1 is the dead wrong play for PGO. It derails discussion and moves the focus away from the game at hand into people wasting their entire time discussing whether the claim is genuine or scum-motivated. By waiting until after a full day of scumhunting has been done, people can form an opinion on my alignment off of my D1 behavior and generally make a post or two about the claim and then move on with the game, and chasing down suspects based off of D1.

So you've played with a PGO before? Could you please link to a game you've played in where what you described has happened? It's mainly the timing of your claim I'm suspicious of, it looks like it may have been a gambit you only just thought of overnight, as it is a really good scum claim.

Okay, why are we even considering the possibility that millar is scum? I certainly think he's stupid, but I don't think for one second that the mod would put only one mason in the game. millar is confirmed town, let's lynch the scum that somehow wormed his way out of a lynch yesterday.

Oh, and while millar has done many stupid things, his claim was definitely not one of them. Think about what would have happened if he hadn't claimed. Someone(scum) would have said, "Oh, he waited to claim because he was scum making sure that there wasn't another mason" and our stupid selves would have lynched confirmed town.

I want to make myself clearer. I won't be completely absent for two weeks. I'll still have days where I can post, the thing is, I don't know when they'll be. For example, I found out this morning that I'll be staying at my dad's house through the weekend. I declared V/LA because I was thinking that it was possible that there might be three days in a row where I couldn't post and I didn't want you guys to have to prod me.

I don't believe in discussion if the whole town believes in a lynch. If a person needs to be lynched, it should be done, because the discussion will always return to that person. And the risks on a PGO are just too great.

Okay, I'll shut up about the doctor. I'm not sure what else to talk about, though. We've already decided who to lynch. What are we going to talk about? Who to lynch tomorrow? we should talk about that TOMORROW. I'm really not a fan of prolonging days past their due. Unless I'm mafia. In that case, I'm glad to let the day drag on for as long as possible, especially if there's suspicion on me, but I'm not the target for the day's lynch yet. It leaves time for you to worm your way out of suspicions without actually having to defend yourself, since town starts to get lethargic, and only pay attention to the game in the present tense. Generally, some townie will say something stupid about how long the game is, or worse, get frustrated and quickhammer, and YAY!!!! Perfect mislynch material.

Okay, here's my claim, which rather completely nullifies all the good bits of the case against me: I'm the doc, idiots. I was trying to say it without really saying it, but apparently it went over you guys' heads. That's the reason I was so adamant that if there was a nurse, there must be a doc, and that there wouldn't be only one mason, etc. Because it seemed to me like I had proof. Granted, it could have come up that there was a nurse and a doc randomly, but it was unlikely. The rest of the case against me..... Well, really, there isn't a rest of the case. I protected quadz the first night. I can't even remember why. I think that that was when I was busy/lurking, so I just sent one in, thinking that something was better than nothing. Which in hindsight, was good, since if I had thought about it, I probably would have protected AGar. N2, I protected MK. It was a tossup between TNM and MK, because you were my two biggest own reads beside AGar. I must admit, I've been a pretty useless doc. I actually didn't post my actions right away simply because I was embarrassed.
