i feel some kind of way about someone arriving and inserting themselves into the game in a way that is like: "im scum with these people"
and then when asked if he's played w those people before there's deflection

Prism feels like they're trying to control the game state. Maybe that's their playstyle though? I can see it either way but given it's a low activity D1 I think it's pro town to be doing stuff and generating some reactions and content.

@Ydrasse part of the reason for me asking is in your earlier read was you weren't sure about whether the town vibes camel was giving you are genuine, and camel's made a bunch of posts since then so I wondered if that's helped you lean more one way or the other.

I don't think scum likes the current gamestate and I'm the main pusher of Alisae's wagon and I know I'm town, so I also know that out of all the possible reasons scum may want to change the current gamestate, my push doesn't have an agenda and isn't being very actively supported by anyone else.

People may be voting Alisae now, like Prism or Camel, but to some extent it also feels like a compromise for not being able to get traction on their own alternatives.

Ali feels like a wagon that people don't want to say "I don't support this at all" but at the same time don't want to say "I'm super committed to this".

Very quick/bad summary, I think if you look back at the past pages and how activity has exploded as Alisae wagon gains traction, you'll see it too:

I like Shirou’s theory about the activity picking up suggesting Alisae could be scum. Even more so if Ydrasse is also scum so scum need to find a different counterwagon to Ydrasse.

Titus's point about Ydrasse voting patchwork, I don't know how much I see it as a scumslip but I think it does indicate Ydrasse not paying close attention to who's who which does add to my suspicion of her.

If you're town, then you need to relook at my motivations. This game has had too many chiefs and not enough indians. We have people vetoing lims based on weak and flimsy reasons. People haven't been reevaluating. I'm "brokering deals" that's a fairish criticism but no one is working together. That's why I've been clear my vote is on the largest wagon on a scumread, regardless of strength of read.

What ISOs have you read? Understand that figuring out Scum here is not straightforward - we haven’t helped ourselves a lot by executing Town back to back and I certainly haven’t helped myself by being absent.

But you’re making it sound like there aren’t any players that defended camel or failed to vote there at key moments, or that pushed for Town in ways that are subtle (like Shirou’s tunnel of Alisae is the sort of stuff that experienced Scum can get away with, but it’s not what I see most often because of the attention it attracts). So that’s what I don’t understand - you’re making it seem like my posting is somehow worse than what is already out there and I just don’t get it.

i think that i’ve read most of the isos in varying degrees but i skimmed yours camel gobs dragons today (am at work)
