i've been pretty reserved in my posting so far and i think it's reasonable to assume my initial push on RN may have had nefarious intentions, so it feels mildly TMI to try to build a town coalition with me in it

i hoped PC's reason for town reading me would be something a little deeper than that I "showed chutzpah" because i'm not sure that's alignment indicative unless you have very specific meta on a player

For those leaning town on Naerys, could you please help me understand that read? I’ve been trying to but I keep reading her posts, but all
it does is frustrate me and doesn’t help me feel better about her at all. I’m trying to land my vote between Naerys and PC right now since it seems it’s one or the other here. Even Hu has backed off Naerys so I don’t know what to think. Of the 4 players I feel best about, currently 2 are voting Naerys and 2 are voting PC.

Answer to your first question is yes, biggest wagons. I don’t know if things will change in the next few days.

The 4 I feel best about are RN for obvious reasons, Dave, klick and Hu Tao. I went into detail a couple times on Hu, if necessary I’ll go back and find those posts for you. Dave and klick are town reads for me based off of my own gut and their overall contributions and interactions thus far.

I’ll do Dave first but I don’t know how to link the posts with the number like a few people have done so bare with me:

Dave’s posts that I feel are indicative of being town: 156, 171, 209, 627, 714, 1032, 1122. Not that I agree with everything he has said in these posts but there’s no way we can be right about everything on day 1, so I’m mostly basing this off of just his thought process and interactions. Also, maybe this is a dumb reason to read town but Dan was the most understanding and helpful to my being new and my questions instead of dismissing me or using it against me.

I’m not sure how much info I want to give about everything I agree with or not because it might inform someone else on how to get me on board with them and I don’t want to be played like a fiddle later on. I think I’ve given more than enough info for you to draw a reasonable conclusion on my “why”.

I pretty much automatically SR anyone who doesn't appear to be trying to find scum.
NAS fits that. I don't do the "poor newb doesn't know how to play so cut some slack they're town" thing. Try to find scum or get yeeted.
Naerys fit it for most of D1. It looked like she was going to pick herself up and play and I might have had a change of heart and vote if the trajectory continued, but it got cut short by others as soon as that looked likely.

That's not the only way I look for scum, hence my recent arc, but I think it's important to say that I'm not off NAS because of a townread.

it's how I play the game. I assume things that would make the game easier for me. I take an educated guess and treat it as gospel.

it gives me pause when people quite a few or on the nas wagon who were on the naerys wagon. it gives me more pause because of how serious everyone is being about the nas lim. they are not doing it for policy because of the lolhammer they were all content to steam on ahead. and now that we're getting to talking about it. your scum read of me is he knows to much. Obviously this is rooted in my subjective opinion. I just personally don’t see how a hypothetical Hu-scum plays day 1 that way. that's way to many people well it obviously can't be rn. so that is a small reprieve their. Dave, psyche, gera, kjq, and nas. Does the degree of nothingness matter? or would they want to appear that they are doing something? I can see a world where hu tao is town with the amount of blind confidence. maybe I should look at the vote count and see who quietly moved off the naerys wagon because they knew it would be town. Klick towards the end of the day was voting nas because they didn't want a naerys flip I think that is the only reason. then nas lolhammered. maybe we can find town wagons if we assume aristeia is town and label her green as well as klick and naerys.

There are two main counter wagons to Naerys D1 and it's basically the same core of Klick/Dannflor/Aristeia trying to make something else happen. First we wagon geraintm, then later we wagon Political Clout. Political Clout gets slightly more traction than geraintm because Hu Tao joins the PC wagon.

I don't really know what to glean from that other then maybe geraintm is slightly more likely to be scum?

But with Naerys being town scum have no incentive to hop on the counterwagon or really do anything if scum aren't in danger so both of these D1 counter wagons could easily just be town

we are probably just arguing ourselves into an exhaustion and maybe it is that easy and it's the people with the lowest activity paired with being on the naerys wagon paired with being on the nas wagon. parking your vote all day on one person is wild to me.
