Hez is saying that tidus's post seems suspicious, but that it doesn't really mean anything until we know the alignment of one of those three people. I'd argue that on Day One of a game without power roles, that's a reason to try to start a bandwagon on one of those three people, probably the center, tidus. But I think it looks more like just a mediocre and somewhat newbish post rather than actual ties between the three of them, so I'm disinclined to help him out in that direction.

So then, The DG wagon has pretty much stopped. This feel awfully similar to the 5 year game. I feel, since we have the time, we start a new bandwagon. My pick, although Tidus looks suspicious, is MoS. He sits here, cries about how great he is, and lurks. I dislike his play style immensely. However, when he's forced to post, he can give the town some well needed info. Let's give him a reason to come out and play. We can see if there's a connection between Tidus, MoS and Cesspit.

I'm not buying the Lee thing (or the MoS one, either). I've been scum with him before (not sure we've ever been town together), and he's careful. Lloyd's whole argument is predicated on a lot of assumptions that aren't necessarily generalizable (motivations from player to player vary, basing vote on one person on another person's actions, etc).

You gave yourself a bit of authority there, by making a vote count without even saying it was unofficial, associating your "we should pile more votes on" with it, that's what I have a problem with, anyway. Yes. The Mod makes official vote counts because the Mod is a disinterested party. if your VC had been "off" by one vote (accidentally or otherwise), and someone got lynched (accidentally or otherwise) as a result, wouldn't that be a poor result?

I've made them before, but I believe I've always put "Unofficial", or "Back of the envelope", or some other way of designating them as being player-based. I didn't even realize yours was a non-official count at first, until I noticed your name on my second read-through. It's not the cleverest scum ploy, when/if it happens, but it's not implausible. The appearance of impropriety is bad for your reputation. That said, Cesspit's apparent overreaction is noted.

Yes, I have mentioned that I found them scummy, but Mr. Flay has done a good job, of getting to a point where I do not think he is the scummiest. Fritz, with the whole maturity thing right out in a point of the game where people thought he could be the recriut, has made him very scummy in my head. Now I do realise that he has switched to it, and is not his old self anymore,but again he is not the scummiest right now.

DGB was lynched, and Fritzler had an active role in getting her lynched. If they were both scum it would make little sense. Lynching his partner to look pro-town would give him little benefit in a game with so many players

The most notable things about Flay were that he went after his scumpartners early but wasn't willing to sacrifice them for his benefit, and that he stayed off the three lynches of townies, letting the town do the dirty work.

A tidus wagon develops like a steamroller. While there's plenty of reason for it, it seems similarly suspicious to the one that landed on DG earlier in the Day.

The only other person he went after early was MOS, for lurking.

He went after his scumpartners hard until their wagons grew, then he softened on them. The conclusion that I'd draw from his early behavior, if any, is that

1) the last scum was lying low at the time but not so low as to get called out by Flay for lurking, or

2) the last scum was playing well and hadn't said anything Flay could use as distancing material.

The next player he went after was Fritzler, and stayed on him throughout the game. Reasons he gave for voting Fritz D2, D3, D4, D5:

* Fritzler, on the other hand, ignored the bandwagon on tidus, and had some strange behaviors on D1 (I already mentioned that he's shown full awareness of the recruitment scheme AND said he has people in mind he might have recruited).
