Thoughts on Chrono: the case against him is kinda weak and in addition, the man softclaimed. Plus, he's much more active than some other lurkers who are flying under radar. We need to move on.

MaxM was actually voting Dram 3rd-ish (not sure), but he jumped off after I voted, then when Pom voted Dram, MaxM came back to vote Dram. Then Jarti finishes Dram off, while making a case against Chrono and me.

And the two people who weren't on the wagon are Charter, who's voting for me at the time, and Brandi, who opposed my lynch at the time.

Jarti first attacks Chronopie, then votes Dram due to some voting pattern he found with me. (I'm afraid I wasn't able to follow correctly the last three or so posts he made before day 1 ended)

MaxM basically ignores Dram until his last three posts or so. Then he votes him.

With the wagon at L-2, only one who can hammer is the doublevoter, who you and I trust to be town. This way, mafia can't 'accidentally' hammer the Guy in question, meaning we can get a nice discussion going without the threat of scum hammering.

I'm currently following

: push wagons on the three people I have mentioned to the point of claim, where at that point town could compare the claim(s) and decide which one Is the most untrustworthy.

Safest (with the least risk of scum 'accidentally' hammering) way of pushing people: push to L-2 where they're in range of our double voter but out of scum hammer range.

I was really glad when double Voter claimed because the aforementioned safest way was now directly feasible and in action.

Point 1

: Charter's reaction to my wagon

I think Brandi is pretty likely to be scum. After Dramonic starts to seriously garner suspicion, she asks for a votecount, and hasn't said anything about Dramonic. I think this is probably pretty lazy scumbuddy action trying to see whether she needs to bus or can try and pull suspicion off Dramonic. Plus she's given zero insight into the game.

I still think FakeGod is likely to be scum. He voted Dramonic, his voting with regard to Dramonic is pretty weird, he voted him twice, neither time with much reason, and when he voted him the second time, Dramonic was miles away from a lynch, and I don't think FakeGod posted again before he got lynched.

Pom I'm kind of neutral on. Her Dramonic vote gives her about the same number of town points as the number of scum points she's racked up throughout the game.

BV, scummy as hell as well. Has done nothing but vote Kitoari a few times.

For thinking I am scum, FakeGod sure is concerned in 364 that the mafia are (were) going to quickhammer me. It's almost like he's knows I'm town (since I doubt mafia would quickhammer themselves right now).

There's usually reasons why people don't claim, FG, and I haven't seen many instances where scum hasn't claimed at L-2/L-1.

I would never claim in a game in a scenario like this, where most of the people voting me haven't given a good reason. First you defend yourself, and if no one is buying your defense, and people threaten to hammer, then you might (depending on role) claim.

FakeGod's softclaim in his last post there is pretty suspect as well. "Oh, this dead person can confirm me, but Athey're dead so you'll just have to take my word for it!", yeah right.

I'm willing to hammer FakeGod. I've given many reasons I'm suspicious of him (and some more in this post) and he hasn't given any satisfactory explanation.

Not to mention that he jumps on my wagon like his life depended on it, but also his tone/style is incredibly different.

Extremely shallow reasoning, because her vote is based on one post I have made in the entire game. It seems like she is rather bandwagonning on a easy prey, a point only confirmed later by her unvoting and revoting later (which she tries to show her "indecisiveness"), to distance herself away from the mislynch which now seems unavoidable.

: Brandi + Pie's reaction to my meta

Brandi posts this along the way.

Based purely on meta, I would say I still don't believe FG is scum. He was incredibly scummy and portraying all sorts of obvscumtells in Furry, that it's hard to think he's much different here than there. I can provide links for anyone interested. LYLO was where he was most notably scummy. I wont support this lynch though, unless someone can show me a game they played with FG where he was scum and acted this way as well.

I really appreciate the meta defense, but unfortunately a counter-example (something that would complete this defense) doesn't exist.
There was no game where I was scum.

What's interesting about this post is Pie's reaction, or rather non-reaction, to it.

Pie makes absolutely no remarks toward the meta defense. Pie, as one of the few players who personally knows what Brandi's meta defense is talking about, completely ignores this and do not even respond to it, even when Brandi remarks on it again in her later post.

My play here actually parallels that other game quite well. For example, my posting the Plan-Of-Action here drew just as bad opinions as my Life Gamble in the other game. The speedwagon on me on day 2 is almost identical in both days. While I could go on about how the games are similar, the point is that Pie ignored them all completely. I'm pretty sure even though he has noticed the similarities in my play styles and what's happening between the both games, but chose deliberately to not bring them up or to respond to them when Brandi brought them up.

Point 4

: Unnatural speed of my wagon

Yes. I went from 0 votes to L-1 within matter of hours. Only a naive fool would say that scum had done nothing to help it out. Quicklynches are almost always bad for the town, and here is no exception. It seems extremely convenient when some of the players switched out and bandwagoned onto my wagon, as soon as I provided them an easy excuse to do so with. (my plan + my full claim)

Judging by the unnatural speed and how most of the votes are based on extremely specific things I have said, there's no doubt that there is at least one scum on my wagon

For my response, I have analyzed the reasoning behind Jarti, Pom, and Pie's Charter vote.

ISO Jarti:

13: Comes in, votes Charter, asks him who's the play is.
16: Restates that he believes Charter is scum.
17: Asks whether Kit wants to see his Charter reasoning
18: Replies that his reasoning has something to do with his being able to follow Charter's thought process or not; once charter tells him who he thinks the play for today is, he'll outline it in more detail.
19: Asks Charter who's the play is.
24: Outlines why he suspects Charter.

Jarti's case:

Those are reasons that scum would bus. Yesterday, I was saying that I thought Dramonic was suspicious, but I was more suspicious of those voting him. I hadn't made any links between people, so I basically had a list of suspicious people, and Dramonic wasn't at the top of the list. I wasn't didn't have enough evidence to suggest that Dramonic and FakeGod were buddies. I'm not sure if you get what I'm saying, but basically I found some people suspicious, but for independent reasons.

Something else that I think everyone voting me is just plain ignoring, is what if I was voting for scum myself? You can argue that even so, it was useless because no one else was voting with me, but no one is saying that. I'm just being condemned for not voting a confirmed scum. I can see where that makes me suspicious, but it shouldn't be enough to lynch me over, especially since I don't see anyone saying or thinking that FakeGod is town.

See, that disconnect in thinking was why I started off toDay voting you. You had dramonic as one of your suspicions, but wouldn't throw your support towards lynching one of your suspicions because other people you were suspicious of also voted him. You yourself list reasons why scum could possibly bus dramonic, but don't take that into account for the dramonic wagon. If that were the case, it'd be hard for you to ever be on a lynch if you avoided all lynches with people you suspected on them, especially if scum voted each other. I think it's meh reasoning for avoiding a wagon. The reason I'm really grilling you for this is because your suspicions throughout the game have mirrored mine to a degree (originally I had Pom & Max as my early suspects, you hounded on them later on for reasoning I could follow easily, etc....). So when I saw the disconnect in your dram reasoning & that just so happens to be the player who flips scum, it makes you suspect to me.

it's not as bad when I reread it, but she says she understands the dramonic wagon, but doesn't think he's scummy. It's pretty much playing both sides but not committing one way or the other.

She's free to change her mind later once the direction the wind is blowing gets established.

If she were town, and legitimately thought either of these wagons was poor, I would expect her to explain why she thought they are poor, and question those voting. What Pom did was be very vague and kind of test out the waters.

She also just laid down a lurker vote on Bv, but didn't mention our other lurker, Beloved. A lurker vote at this time is a pretty safe thing to do if you're scum. No one is going to question voting for a lurker, because lurking should be punished, but at the same time,

she isn't asking Bv any questions or giving him any reason to post. She's just keeping her nose clean.

I see this was in response to Alamaster asking her who she's suspicious of, and she comes back with the lurker vote and nothing else.

Updating my line of reasoning........

Alm + Pie lead the wagon on Dram, so I'm willing to give them town cred for now, and if we take it that Dram wasn't bussing, then Kit + bv aren't scum either.

Which leaves Brandi, Charter, Jarti, MaxM, and Pom from my point of view.

I'll cut the list down further with more analysis later.

Charter, while claiming that he isn't against the wagon, repeatedly defends Dram toward the end, saying that he thinks the wagon is scum-fueled, and that people he suspect made easy votes on him.

Jarti first attacks Chronopie, then votes Dram due to some voting pattern he found with me. (I'm afraid I wasn't able to follow correctly the last three or so posts he made before day 1 ended)

MaxM basically ignores Dram until his last three posts or so. Then he votes him.

This is the line of reasoning where I first mentioned my three suspicions for the day, Charter, Max, and Jarti.

I actually think the opposite as true.

People are usually bad at casing and just throw around votes. These are the worst kinds of votes for scum because there is the danger of a wagon forming without them being able to do anything to refute it. So they ask for the case.

But randomly thrown around votes tend to miss scum (just because there are less scum than town), and in that case, scum can use it to their advantage.

As for her claim, I'm going to believe it. Claiming at L-2 rather than at L-1 makes more sense if you were a doc, because doc's very valuable to town, and last thing you'd want is getting lynched by a scum who "accidentally" hammers because he/she wants to "take chances" that you're lying.

I'm Mokuba Kaiba, TOWN Hostage. Even though my big brother Seto is a dick (putting me in his video game as a girl for example), he's still my brother and he often saves me from whoever kidnaps me (which happens almost every other episode). So I'm trying to find him and thank him for always rescuing me, even if he doesn't seem to care. Each night, I can scan one player to find out if they're my big brother or not. I don't know my big brother's alignment or role though, so I guess this scan is useless: MaxMouse is not my big brother. It was a tossup between him and Kit for their early posts in the RVS.

Yet, in my role PM, I only had "Joey", which I found unusual. This is why I asked Pie whether his role PM said "Mokuba", or "Mokuba Kaiba".

@Plum: Our mod don't have to mess up anything severely for something like this to happen. If the mod gave "Mokuba" as Pie's fakeclaim, then would it be a huge stretch to think that Pie may have decided to add the last name "Kaiba" when he claimed? I think not.

Sorry, I've been busy and essentially ignoring this game existing. However I checked on it today and found InflatablePie fake-claiming my character. I'm Mokuba. Just Mokuba, 1 name, not 2. My role has jack to do with my brother, however in the flavour it mentions him and refers to him as Seto Kaiba. Regardless, I've spent like FUCKING FOREVER, trying to find my damn breadcrumbles. I put them into the "subject"/"RE:" field since it wouldn't show up directly and people would only see it if you quoted the posts. Well lo and behold, when you quote posts the new forum settings don't show up and I've been trying DAMN EVERYTHING to figure out how to show you all them.

Go to advanced search; search for "batmobile" in subform Coney Island. Make sure it's set to search Post Subjects & Message Text. It'll display a post by me and the subject says "batmobile? We have 6 people left. We lynch today, then I shoot. Then if mafia is still alive, they shoot.

If we haven't won by then, we have 3 people remaining (with me included if Brandi is REAL doctor).

We lynch again, and if we STILL haven't won yet, me and maf shoot each other for a tie.

I think the worst town could do is a tie. (this is ONLY IF the last remaining mafia (there's one left, right?) miraculously survives the hailstorm of bullets and lynches)

Not at all. He's not scumhunting, he's hunting for that player. If he had claimed lyncher, we really have no choice but to lynch him immediately.

I don't think you guys realize the severity of five anti town roles. What if there was a day one mislynch, night one, two townies dead. Now it's 4 town, vs 3 scum, vs SK, vs lyncher. That might be technically winnable for town (though it would require some amazing doc/commuter luck), but in reality, the game would have been lost night one.

It does seem harsh once you put it out like that...... wow we were really lucky.
